What made music great until recently what's the fact that he played most of it life, and no freakin Auto-Tune. The vocals were their actual voices. Auto-tune is destroying music nowadays.

Tracking the history of incoming and outgoing members of this group I can only speculate about who performed on each recording. Doesn't really matter though. The sound was pretty much consistent throughout.

Pretty sure I was there. My folks went to Ravinia all the time both for the Symphony summer shows and for more pop groups. The next summer I saw my first real rock concert there - Iron Butterfly. At 14 my brother and I were allowed to go by ourselves with a friend.

I went to this concert at Ravinia when I was 13. I managed to meet these guys and found them very approachable and nice. Good people.

One of them hung out with Frank Zappa. That says something.

I saw them with some friends the same year in Anaheim, CA. The first of many concerts, even up until recently. Always a favorite band!

They, and the Monkees, were the top bands in 1966 and 1967. They kicked off the Monterey Pop festival with coats and ties. Probably the last band to do that.

This group and their music brings back memories of my youthful teenage days .

One of the guys singing is a Filipino named Larry Ramos..It was amazing to see that The Association had a member from the Philippines in the height of the “British Invasion”

I remember this wonderful song from my youth. I would have been about 8 years old when it came out.

This is my first hearing of 'Windy' performed live. Thanks. A beautiful song and a bit mysterious. My favorite line I think is "And Windy has stormy eyes, That flash at the sound of lies"

Most of the vids out for 'Windy' are the band miming to the studio recording. I was always curious about how it sounded live and this is just great!
