Great harmonies!
ОтветитьFirst time I've heard them do this live and not miming it like usual.
ОтветитьWait. I got a glimpse of the Emmys. An overweight black lady who weighed 200 pounds doing rap violent crap. Huh?
ОтветитьJust think. Now it has to be a 200 pound black lady and the music is obsolete and racist.
Ответитьseeing Brian Cole gives me chills!! RIP :(
ОтветитьNice to see a live performance.
ОтветитьStudio version was better sound, but this is still great 👍
ОтветитьKiller performance, about a million times better than the sterilized Wrecking Crew recording.
ОтветитьNo one writes songs like this anymore where one can hum or whistle the tune.
ОтветитьI certainly imagined a happy beautiful woman when I heard this song as a 5 year old. Such positive music. We need more of it
ОтветитьWhat made music great until recently what's the fact that he played most of it life, and no freakin Auto-Tune. The vocals were their actual voices. Auto-tune is destroying music nowadays.
ОтветитьI don’t care what anyone says—this is a banger.
ОтветитьWho was the chick? She rules
ОтветитьI was there! Loved the Association. Still have all their albums.
ОтветитьI just love that he uncased/unleased the mighty recorder! The whole song is masterful but that is my favorite part of the song.
ОтветитьPriceless.
ОтветитьI keep asking... Where did you get this footage? My dad filmed this at Ravinia for wgn 9 news. I was with him. Lucky me...
ОтветитьIs that kristin wiig?😉 lol.. one of my very favourite groups😎
ОтветитьNot bad, considering they had to try to sound like the record they didn’t play on.
ОтветитьHow fun…I assume that was Lake Michigan in Chicago.
ОтветитьI spent the better part of 2 years trying to find out who the girl in this video was. I finally had success. It wasn't easy.
ОтветитьRest easy Terry. You will be missed.
ОтветитьTracking the history of incoming and outgoing members of this group I can only speculate about who performed on each recording. Doesn't really matter though. The sound was pretty much consistent throughout.
ОтветитьWho was that girl and nobody knows
ОтветитьAwesome live version...R.I.P. Terry Kirkland, Brian Cole and Larry Ramos
ОтветитьI was there with my girlfriend on a blanket listen to the sounds
ОтветитьWho’s bending down to give me a rainbow 😝
ОтветитьThe Association is THE BEST vocal band in rock history.
ОтветитьIs the film footage of the blonde chick from a movie?
ОтветитьPretty sure I was there. My folks went to Ravinia all the time both for the Symphony summer shows and for more pop groups. The next summer I saw my first real rock concert there - Iron Butterfly. At 14 my brother and I were allowed to go by ourselves with a friend.
ОтветитьRIP - Larry, Terry, and Brian
ОтветитьNever heard this live this is awesome writing is genius. This song can be about a woman and mother nature.
ОтветитьI went to this concert at Ravinia when I was 13. I managed to meet these guys and found them very approachable and nice. Good people.
ОтветитьOne of them hung out with Frank Zappa. That says something.
ОтветитьI saw them with some friends the same year in Anaheim, CA. The first of many concerts, even up until recently. Always a favorite band!
ОтветитьThey, and the Monkees, were the top bands in 1966 and 1967. They kicked off the Monterey Pop festival with coats and ties. Probably the last band to do that.
ОтветитьThis group and their music brings back memories of my youthful teenage days .
ОтветитьNo lip-syncing!
ОтветитьThese guys are still playing
ОтветитьSi sophistiqué.
ОтветитьI used to think this song was Wendy and we had a cat named Wendy and I would sing this to her
ОтветитьI think the wrecking crew had a part in this
ОтветитьOne of the guys singing is a Filipino named Larry Ramos..It was amazing to see that The Association had a member from the Philippines in the height of the “British Invasion”
ОтветитьThat Bass Line though…great band really knew how to play live.
ОтветитьCame from Breaking Bad
ОтветитьI remember this wonderful song from my youth. I would have been about 8 years old when it came out.
This is my first hearing of 'Windy' performed live. Thanks. A beautiful song and a bit mysterious. My favorite line I think is "And Windy has stormy eyes, That flash at the sound of lies"
Most of the vids out for 'Windy' are the band miming to the studio recording. I was always curious about how it sounded live and this is just great!
Great great great great
ОтветитьI will,,,with full intent, take the liberty to dedicate this beautiful song to a beautiful cat named,,,cutie!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
ОтветитьBack to far better days XXX
