I guess it is more important to stay together and work several jobs to make ends meet than to work towards building a better future for her and Lilo while having an amazing support group supporting both sisters.
ОтветитьThe movie's approach is actually justified. Nani is 18, like Tutu said she's practically a child herself. In the live action, they emphasized her sacrifices which the cartoon brushed off.
In the live action, Lilo understands these sacrifices. The kid sometimes think she's a burden holding Nani back and Nani did her best to make her feel she's not. In the end, Lilo still feels like she is and that's a normal reaction from someone who lost both parents at a young age.
I loved the original animated movie I hate this live action remake changing characters personality deleting characters completely I had high hopes for it when I found out original crew was coming back but I think this more Disney corporation over lord cramming stuipid ideology down throats
ОтветитьHow about this, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it
ОтветитьAre you guys seriously surprised!? For crying out loud it’s Disney who made it! Haha Disney is not who they used to be..everything that they come out with they ruin!
ОтветитьThat never happened in the movie I watched it stop ur lies
ОтветитьPeople forget that masks exist outside of covid. Like, do they think healthcare workers are suffocating?? And even in casual wear, it's normal in some places, like Japan, to wear a mask if you feel remotely under the weather. It's far more sanitary and protects people around you from getting sick. Do Japanese people all suffocate during flu season? No? Then you'd be fine wearing it for a little while. Jesus.
ОтветитьI don’t really care about it It was pretty cool no matter what
ОтветитьDid you guys not see the ending? Noni literally comes back for Lilo like chill
ОтветитьUh no the programming is that you need to forget about your culture and “embrace modenrism”
ОтветитьGaming journalism is now just re-reading twitter posts? What a joke.
ОтветитьIGN knows what they're doing. Kudos IGN, kudos 👍
Ah, I haven't watched it yet, allow me to watch the full film first and then I shall share my take. I'll judge the film as a standalone piece of art and will not benchmark it against the original.
I like this change because it’s real. They both are young and lilo wasn’t losing anything and no family was separated, she was able to voice her support for Nani to study (in the remake at least)
ОтветитьBasically they changed the character. The character has different goals and ideals.
Thats often the problem with remakes, they miss the point of the characters or stories and change things for the sake of being different
They're always fucking up our childhood shows.
ОтветитьFans are nit picking cause this seems too good to be true, especially given disney's recent history. It's an appropriate reaction, but it won't drastically change mutch so i think it's a bit of an overreaction. I mean, hell, onepiece isn't totally loyal to the original, but this is just minor changes and still works as an adaptation. Maybe this live action will end up the same way, have faith admist the impossible, and you might be surprised.
ОтветитьThis is the lie women are told in 2025! You can have your family and your career too! But that's just not true!
ОтветитьIf you're gonna change it, at least make it good, people would stop hating on live action if they put more effort into it, why even make it if its an absolute perfection Cobra Bubbles was made a weaker version of himself a lot weaker, Jumba looked like an old man that wasn't even a scientist. More cringe than funny. Nani felt more aggressive than in the other movie. The list goes on
ОтветитьBruh this is 2025. Ohana means ended up in El Salvador for writing a paper at UC San Diego with no trial to prove they are US citizens. This whole country is ass.
ОтветитьCheaper tuition in Hawaii for marine biology is kinda ironic now that o think about it
ОтветитьOhana means milking Family Films for $
ОтветитьWhere villain
ОтветитьBy the box office numbers. You bozos ate it up and loved it. You all want remakes of remakes now at this point. Next audiences will demand they put that train game above the movie now. I hate this society and how creatively bankrupt it’s become to appease the God you all worship called Capitalism.
ОтветитьYou defend this ending you are what's wrong with people nowadays.
ОтветитьStudy marine biology in another state while living in an actual island with actual fish surrounding it.
ОтветитьOr just keep the same story since it it the movie of the same name
ОтветитьI like how the character don’t look Hawaiian, they’re just brown
ОтветитьI kinda liked they added that part so that we could get that bed scene where Stitch said “goodnight sisters”
Ответитьwho care's
ОтветитьOk... not gonna watch it
ОтветитьSimple they can't have a woman doing what the left think is sexist a woman taking care of a family No unacceptable
ОтветитьThey couldn't do that because instead Disney wanted to have their "strong independent woman" moment
ОтветитьThey don't have that whale looking villain in the movie
ОтветитьI am happy we still have the animated version it’s the best version
ОтветитьTrying to program people so they want to go to college not a fan of that ending either
ОтветитьThe whole story is about a sister working hard to keep her broken family together it broken but it still good
ОтветитьDisney just sneaking in a little imperialism. Of course they split up the family, it’s the American way!
ОтветитьYour pretty goddamn you a diamond because you reflect so much beauty and personality 😘💖
Ответитьgirl ohanha dose not mean that also she did not leav😳
ОтветитьDon't you people get it, there's always a left wing message behind Disney's movies. Left wing propaganda says college is where you need to be if you want to succeed in life. And of course we all know what institution pushes Left wing communist socialist ideology... COLLEGE!
ОтветитьIt's one of those situations where there is nothing wrong with a person wanting to go to University and there is nothing wrong with staying to look after your family.
Either is a fine way to end this story, BUT...clearly Disney disagree as they actively changed the ending they had to one that they clearly felt was better and that is an issue.
I liked the movie… my god daughter loved it… it was… manageable to watch cause normally I hate Disney slop
ОтветитьYour really pretty narrator girl ❤️
ОтветитьWho is this?
ОтветитьAll for the politics
Ответить"Ohana means i get to go to college"
-Live action nani
Hate it should have stayed the same. Knowing someone who raised their sibling they would have never left. Plus you can’t tell there isn’t a marine biology school in Hawaii. Broke the purpose of the movie.
ОтветитьHow do you mess up that bad...
ОтветитьThere are 20 Marine biology graduates for every job in the field. Its like Paleontology.
ОтветитьYEAH RIGHT SHE DID NOT ABANDON HER SISTER ALL BY THAT FOR A DOLLAR SHE GOING TO GET A JOB PAYING FOR MARINE BIO AS A MARINE BIOLOGIST THEN WHY DIDN'T SHE GO TO HAWAII OR SOMEWHERE WHERE THERE WAS A LOCAL UNIVERSITY WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE MAINLAND IT'S LIKE ALSO SAYING YEAH YOU CAN'T BE HAPPY OR DO ANYTHING UNLESS YOU LEAVE YOUR TOWN GREAT MESSAGE DISNEY NOT
Ответить
