ОтветитьI miss my city. This pandemic shook my life up but I'll be back. Born and proudly raised.
ОтветитьI live here
ОтветитьA once nice city is now a fetid and festering sewer. The downtown core offers nothing. Streets are filthy.Human debris wandering aimlessly. The one and only one redeeming feature that Windsor has to offer is the riverfront. You can walk from the Ambassador Bridge right down to Hiram Walker. Beyond that it's a toilet with trees
ОтветитьF.O.H😭 HE WAS BORN ON THE 4TH OF JULY 👍
ОтветитьWish i grew up in Windsor back then Windsor has nothing now downtown is all bars boarded up buildings strip clubs and crackheads
ОтветитьI moved to windsor in 2004
ОтветитьNow you can find local trap houses in windsor like some exotic Reggie straight from Ontario ca if you ask the right crackhead on Wyandotte
ОтветитьMake a video of Windsor today.
ОтветитьThe dirtiest, most uneducated, backwards city in this country. I pity the people who live there.
ОтветитьI live there!
ОтветитьBeing able to see this video really opens my eyes to how beautiful Windsor once was.. Isn't the same now thats for sure..
ОтветитьWtf why is my city on my explore page
ОтветитьI work at an antique store in Windsor and I always have older people telling me how nice the city used to be. Unfortunately I'm not old enough to have seen it personally, but I love seeing these old videos or hearing stories of the city back then. This was really cool to watch :)
ОтветитьIt’s kinda weird seeing the history of the city I live in and was raised in. Kinda beautiful tho
ОтветитьSo this is just on everyone's recommended page that's from Windsor, wassup y'all
ОтветитьI have lived in Kitchener for most of my life, but from 2017-2020 I lived in Windsor while doing my MSc at the university. I miss it, mainly for the good times I had. But I also miss the smell when walking near the river. My apartment was on Riverside Drive so I always got that smell coming through my windows on a nice crisp day :). I now live in Sault Ste. Marie, so quite the contrast haha.
ОтветитьToo bad life in Windsor has changed and a lot of it and not so good thanks to some of the stuff that the mayor and councils of past have really messed this city up the cutbacks and services etc and the passing off of responsibility from the city to homeowners like cleaning the alleys and making sure that they're clear which homeowners do not have the ability to keep allies clear in the winter time as well as cutbacks in the garbage services and other things Eddie Francis Drew dilkins they helped flush the city into a abyss of problems
ОтветитьBorn and raised here. No matter what happens, I'll never stop loving Windsor!
ОтветитьIt changed so much.
ОтветитьThis city genuinely sucks, the people are so goddamn racist
ОтветитьAs a person currently experiencing their childhood in Windsor, this is a weird video to see
ОтветитьThanks, Scatches Of Our Town. You did an awesome job showing the true history of Windsor. I remember not liking it at all while I was growing up. Once I was old enough to see all this wonderful city has to offer, I became a big fan. Windsor will shine on for a very long time.
ОтветитьWhen you see the camera pan to our waterfront it blew my mind. So different from our University Campus, Chrystler Building and Casino here now. Crazy to think what another 10-20 years will bring.
ОтветитьThats the Windsor I remember ad grew up in before I moved away after college... sadly it is quite a sad place now
ОтветитьThis was taken before becoming Communist!! It used to be a beautiful place. So sad to see the way it is today!!
Ответитьque agujero de mierda
ОтветитьLived in Windsor for nearly 17 years during the 90’s and early 2000’s. I hated it at the time and couldn’t wait to leave. I’m in Alberta and I miss the warmth of the long summers and flowers that were able to grow. I miss the lakes of Ontario the most. A lot more to do there than where I live now. Thinking of moving back to Ontario again.
ОтветитьWow, not a big difference today
ОтветитьIs this city diverse?
Ответить🍁
ОтветитьI’m from Metro Detroit. Used to go there 99-00 every weekend before I turned 21 with my friends. Jokers, Dante’s, Windsor Music Cafe, Reactor. But my best memories of Windsor are going to the old Windsor Arena to watch the Spitfires play. Man that place was insane!
ОтветитьHow old is this documentary?
ОтветитьWindsor sucks
ОтветитьInteresting... though a lot left out. I lived in Windsor 1957-1972..... visited my parents many times over the years, but haven't returned since my mother's funeral in 2007. The suburb where I grew up looked the same till then.... but didn't get downtown. Is it as bad as some of the comments?
ОтветитьBorn and raised in Windsor. My youth was spent in Detroit.
My career in Toronto and Hamilton. My retirement back in Windsor.
Too bored in Windsor. First chance I get I'm out of here !!!
Who is the guy presenting?
ОтветитьDave Sleiman's dad's restaurant got some good business from this film......Elias Deli !!!...I remember when it was down on Shepherd and Ouellette......too bad it had to close !!!! Yo Dave , it's Eddie Vargas....lmao !!!!
ОтветитьBORN AND RAISED SINCE 1963..................................................................................................................................WINDSOR SUX !!!!
ОтветитьWow, I’m feeling nostalgic watching this. Born and raised in Windsor. Moved away in 99 but it’ll always be my hometown.
ОтветитьWhat a great trip down memory lane!😊
Ответитьborn in windsor in 1972.51 years old.still live in windsor
