I wouldn't run games off a PC I'd run Linux, Freebsd or haiku OS to run as a daily driver desktop

What are the dimensions of your 4 full size GPUs? Could you specify which GPUs you have used so we can compare it to our own GPU? I've got an old Asus GTX970 ROG Strix DC2OC with a length of 279mm lying around and wonder if it can build in an SFF office pc with some modifications. I don't wanna go the ITX route of building a whole new expensive system around this card.

3050 6gb is fine.

I would prefer the single slot graphics card to make the build more streamline.

I can confirm the 1660 ti pricing....just snagged the exact same one for $50.00. Also just got a 3050 8g for $110.00

that x4 port really wouldn't of taken that much performance away, I divide lanes all the time for devices and barley get any differences
