I bought a new System 76 series II dark lacquer tenor last year and absolutely love it.

Does it feel closed off or offer any resistance at all?

I have never really heard anything negative about these horns, and I almost purchased one. At the last minute, I decided to stick with what was familiar, and bought another Yamaha! Sounds great though!
