California Dream For All - 20% Down Payment Assistance Program To Buy A House in California.

The California Dream for all down payment assistance program is available starting March 27, 2023. It helps first time home buyers with up to 20% down payment assistance that does not not need to be paid back until the home owner sells, refinances, or pays off their mortgage. Because it is an equity share program, CALHFA will be paid back the 20% that was loaned to the home buyer, along with 15-20% of the equity accrued at the time the home is sold, refinanced, or paid off. There are income limits to this program, so consult with your California mortgage broker for more information to see if you qualify for this loan
