If this is BMWs way of making us unable to wait to see the next generation, then they have done a GREAT job
ОтветитьIt's already confirmed that the m5 g90 corners alot better than the m5 f90 competition now imagine a comp g90.
ОтветитьMclaren launched 750s 6-7 months ago. luckily, it is using a 4lt v8 with twin-turbo just like an m5. how mclaren skipped hybrid systems, weigh the same with its predecessor and become compliant with emission regulations?
ОтветитьNo sunroof sorry
Ответитьyou but one car for the weight of two
ОтветитьThis is the best looking 5 series since E39..
ОтветитьSeen it in the flesh. The front is a dogs dinner. 🐕
ОтветитьI think peak M5 was the E60 - the looks, V10 sound, the 507bhp it was pure theatre.
Ответитьthat boat floats?
ОтветитьI know it's controversial, but I like the looks.
ОтветитьEveryone complaining about the weight can always go get a 4 cylinder amg lol
ОтветитьDONT Give them a pass on the weight
ОтветитьI know there will be many people disagreeing with me but... I am not a fan of any of them (BMW, Merc or Audi) in particular - I just go with whatever I like the best at the time. And, right now - Audi RS6 is simply the best looking car out of it, E63 or M5. By far. So - as they are, in reality, very close in most aspects (performance, equipment etc) - if I could afford one I'd definitely choose Audi RS6. Well, almost definitely - would try them all first. But, who cares if the other might be 0.1 or 0.2 sec faster to get to whatever mark? Does that matter in real life? No, it does not. And assuming that driving them is not massively different (as in - one is much better than others) - makes sense to go with the best looking car - Audi for me. But - each to their own...
ОтветитьBmw did with old M5 what should be done back then and now they doing the M5 of the moment , can’t go back in time and as a bmw M fan is think Bmw did great with all M cars of there era can’t wait to try it to see if it still the ultimate driving machine of the moment .
ОтветитьSo this a brand new M5 and the reviewer has, understandably, “Brand new Kia Cerato” levels of enthusiasm. Genuinely, what a complete piece of junk.
ОтветитьI'm having a test drive of one on Saturday, but I'm going in with an open mind. I'll only offer a comment once I have experienced the car.
ОтветитьThe M3 is the new M5, it's about the same size or even larger than the old M5's. still nimble and has all the luxury creature comforts M5 used to have,
ОтветитьIt's quite ugly and heavy. I hardly miss the times when you sit down, start the engine and just drive along. New cars simply tell me I an getting old. Maybe that's true. I just want to drive. My car's job is to take me to work, shopping and travel. I don't want to mess with the 100 different settings it gives me, I am not a formula 1 driver. For my taste it is too much.
ОтветитьFInally, a car reviewer that doesn't glaze BMW. The new M5 is not an M5. It's a heavy pos.
ОтветитьI love how "journalists" are not saying anything bad so they can keep getting the cars to review.
ОтветитьNo more M5 spirit...
ОтветитьThat's one ugly car. Losing the plot aren't we in Bavaria.
ОтветитьWhat an ugly looking car….
ОтветитьWhat a ugly peace of metal 🤢 the world is really going for the most boring idiots in the world with no balls.
What we need is going back to the idea of Grup-B and if you don't have them in place, stay in your safe space 😂😂😂
It's official, the car industry has jumped the shark.
ОтветитьI'm all for refinement in fast cars...especially 'luxury' sports sedans like the M5. There is too much bad taste with an archaic attraction to brutal acceleration with tire smoke, banging through gears, and power sliding - especially in the tuning community. That stuff was from the 1970's era and today any car you have to try hard to go fast - actually never feels that fast. Today, the fastest accelerating cars tend to be electrics and have acceleration characterized as smooth as falling (linear and strong, with plenty of low-end power)...Many well tuned factory sports cars do a decent job of being fast while maintaining composure at the same time (Audi S class tends to be the best at it). Suspension tuning should ideally make cars handle corners with stability - like on rails, and not wildly drift through a corner like you just stole it.
Ответить3.5 litre straight six from the BMW M1. 286 bhp, 0-60 in 6.2 and 158 mph..!!
Ответитьheavier than a bugatti tourbillon while both are hybrid
Ответитьone ugly yellow skip!
ОтветитьOmg cant believe the company has made the most beautiful sadans like early 2000 7 series now making this school bus
ОтветитьI cannot now see anything but underpants. Let's not dance on the head of a pin here! The M5 has been reduced to a mere showy anachronism. lt looks built specifically for GTA rather than the real world driving enthusiast. I just look at the flashy "Ambient Lighting" and the tablet plonked on the dash and I think tarts bedroom but with a oversized flat screen stuck on a wall. I cannot help wondering if the motoring journo's are in denial here, so collectively muzzled and afraid they are to say what they really feel.
If this was a new RS6 or E63s, they would be gushing paragraphs of disappointment and criticisms but here we have an "AI" defined mountain on wheels that anesthetizes its driver into believing they are in control and having the ultimate driving experience but in reality they are in a sim for the road.
What? Really? You expect us to believe then BMW tonnes are somehow in suspended animation or the cars noises are better perfected through a fancy stereo come on now, you are all deluding yourselves and letting BMW get away with a pretty numb and eye wateringly expensive con trick. I had hoped that Top Gear of all the motoring media streams would have broken ranks and tell it as it is.
The I5 M60 as a direct comparison does the much same thing as the M5 imposter but without the castrated lump hanging between the legs of the "underpants" offering only only synthetic farts in place of low down rumble that a V8 ICE should bring. So again the question is a legitimate one, why M5 over I5 M60? Surely the latter is much better as a value proposition and does with honesty what it says on the tin.
The M5 has no identity now and equally little purpose. Such a disappointment and a sad synthetic end to a badge that meant something, whether you were a BMW enthusiast or not.
How many kw
ОтветитьIf it was just better looking people would consider it, maybe🤔
But it is fat and ugly and with an interior so bland, I just hate that kind of “glue to the dashboard” kind of screen🤮
At least the wheels are cool😂
I'm a Peasant but as you said an M5 CSL would be great, even just for Gran Turismo/Forza, let alone in real life. Very nice car. It's styling is pretty good and as understated as it can be in 2025 while having BMW character. Yellow looks great honestly. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьThe machine sounds great.
ОтветитьThe new G30 M5—a technological marvel and a heavyweight champion. Literally. At 2.5 tons, thanks to its PHEV system, it somehow tips the scales heavier than a Tesla Model X Plaid. Let that sink in: a hulking SUV weighs less than this 'sports sedan.' It even out weighs certain military HUMVEEs. Sure, BMW M engineers have undoubtedly worked their magic to mask the bulk, but physics is undefeated. That weight means faster tire wear, more stress on suspension components, and brakes that have to work overtime to rein it all in. You can’t make 2.5 tons go on a diet, no matter how much carbon fiber you sprinkle on top. Let’s hope the driving experience is worth the cost of constantly replacing consumables!
ОтветитьYak hell no
ОтветитьYeah, i will keep my F90..
ОтветитьNo thanks, I’ll keep my E60 M5 with a bespoke 5.8L stroker motor with a boatload of OEM+ upgrades…
ОтветитьI believe M5 enthusiasts want that hot rod. I saw a 2013 M5 selling for $33,000 in Vancouver, Canada. The 2003 M5 is selling for $49,000....enough said

ОтветитьThe last generation was a classic M5
Ответить👨⚕️ Dinner Lunch Breakfast
ОтветитьThey butchered M5. 🤡
ОтветитьI’m not even going to finish this video. When bmw stopped offering a manual in this segment, I had to look elsewhere for a sedan. This thing just takes it to the next level of boredom.
ОтветитьDoes the added weight of the new BMW M5 compromise its legendary performance, or does it still deliver that thrilling driving experience we expect?
ОтветитьSo, is the spirit of the M5 alive in this new car – or not?
