Getting your home in the MLS is one of the most important things you can do if you want to sell your home on your own without a listing agent. You can save a ton of money by not having to pay the listing agent side of the transaction.

According to the National Association of Realtors, 87% of buyers are working with a real estate agent or Broker. That doesn't leave a lot of potential buyers left to try and save even not paying a buyer's agent. If you're serious about successfully selling your home and saving money, then you need to be prepared to offer anywhere from 2% to 3% commission to a buyer's agent.
