Children learn from many different sources/references in their life. They thought for themselves and saw how their parents spoke and acted around them, when alone, with family and with others. Now, the focus is so external instead of internal (self reflection, looking within yourself for answers/solutions) that people forgot how to be decent, well-rounded human beings and contribute to society instead of leeching off of it.
