Also, pushing your little girl to like boys when she is clearly too young is awful in my opinion.

Even in 1996, I don’t remember parks being full with kids but I feel like it’s definitely getting less and less with technology. Even in 1996, I wouldn’t have dropped my daughter off at a park for 4 hours without an adult supervising.

Seems like many times people never suspected kids could be the suspect. I wish we could have seen the officer shot in the end being fully recovered. After she learned of the family from the guy in the nursing home, no one seemed to follow up on that.

She just left her 10 yr old daughter, all by herself, at the park, without any adult supervision whatsoever. That’s exactly how it happens, dumba$$ mother!

OK, I guess it’s me. I found this movie quite silly. Typical lifetime movie if that’s what it was.

No parent should ever leave a child in a public park alone w/only their friends. My daughter was 7 when this movie was made, we lived in a brand new neighborhood, all new houses, and directly next door to our house the builder built a sm. park. We shared a fence, I could see the park from the bedroom window. Even then she never played in the park alone. Insane!

So you're saying the ability is passed down your bloodline through your family and you're saying your daughter's crazy?

I see allot of people questioning the decision to let her daughter play at the park alone and cannot help but feel it is being judged by today's guidelines. Back in the 80's growing up us kids would eat breakfast and run out the door to be alone all day, we would go to parks, explore the woods, play in rivers and just live life carefree. it was a different time to live, no internet predators, no Facebook, yes sometimes bad things happened but it was nowhere near the epidemic that crimes against children have become in today's world.

Back in the late 60's and 70's. We used play in the park with no parents to watch us. We didn't have crazy people like today.

I always thought Cheryl Ladd was equally as beautiful as Farrah Fawcett. A good actor, as well.

Cheryl Ladd is not only beautiful but is fascinating to watch her expressions!

In the 60's and 70s our mums sent us outside after breakfast. We often didn't come home until lunch then out again until the street lights came on. No adult supervision.
Maybe we were lucky nothing horrible happened to us in Australia. However when I look back there were weirdos everywhere then. Luckily we never came across any. Those were the times. It made us more aware of strange behaviours early on from strangers. Never say never though.

In the 70’s we left after breakfast and had to be in before the street lights came on. It’s just how it’s was back then.
