That looks great. I had no idea it was a staple thing in England. Here in Scotland I think I’ve only seen it twice in my life
ОтветитьOMG YUM YUM YUM. Thanks for sharing Adam🧅🧄🧅🧄🧅
ОтветитьStill a little sad to not see old Mogs at the end. Miss that little guy.
ОтветитьHappy new year Adam! Here's to a great 2024 and beyond! I have GOT to try this with the salt and vinaigre chips, that looks amazing!
ОтветитьThat looks great I will give that a go except for the crisps would that freeze as I'm the only one in this house who likes cauliflower it would be great if I could freeze small portions for future meals, atb john.
ОтветитьI love cauliflower cheese as a main dish too. Rich tangy cheese sauce, and thick buttered brown bread - has to be brown IMO !
I also love the cauliflower hearts (along with cabbage hearts and brocolli stems), eaten raw, delicious - throwing them away is a crime!!!
Looks yummy 😋
ОтветитьI'm preparing our cauliflower a completely different way, steamed, melting cheese and roasted breadcrumbs but your way is something I'm going to try. Most importantly - Cauliflower isn't suitable for rabbits, bunnies, etc. It causes bloating and most of the time an awful death for your loved pet. Please edit.
Cheers
Looks delicious mate. Yes definitely a dish worthy by itself. I do like to have this with some pulled pork
ОтветитьCould this be a meal in itself rather than just a side dish?
ОтветитьOnce again you have smashed it 😂🎉 cauliflower and chorizo cheese. You have put a smile on an old lady's face.😅😅😊. Thanks mate 👍
ОтветитьLegendary dish 🤩
Could add some broccoli to, bacon instead of chorizo perhaps, the possibilities are endless. Will definitely try this.
(Trumping like a good’en in the morrow me thinks haha)
Extra mature cheese saves money, it has so much more flavour you only need use half the amount used of medium cheddar, less fat too. I always add mustard to any cheese sauce as it intensifies the flavour of the cheese, more money and fat saving. My wife has suddenly decided she no longer likes Chorizo, so I'll give it a go with smoked bacon instead. It won't have that lovely golden fat but it will give a meaty chew and saltiness.
ОтветитьJust a heads up, in Mexico they speak Spanish without the lispyness, making chorizo pronounced "cho-ree-zo" 😉
ОтветитьWhat a fabulous recipe, Adam!! All I need to buy is the chorizo and I'm good to go. I do occasionally have CC for a main course - it's worth much more than just a side dish!! Hope you're keeping well and feeling OK. It's so sad to know that Moggs is no longer with you. We all miss Moggs. Look after yourself!! Best as always. Pete A :) :) :)
ОтветитьWe`ll be making this for sure. Greetings from Norway
ОтветитьTalking of being pissed of in the kitchen, my biggest one was when I spent a couple of hours making chicken stock from a carcass (first year i'd been doing it), I ended up sieving all the beautiful stock down the sink!!!!! I was left with tasteless bits :(.
ОтветитьHappy New Year, our Adam! My husband’s aunt and uncle are coming to us (Mississippi) next week. WHAT do I cook for these English people? Wishing you well! And, this recipe looks smashing!
ОтветитьMmmm I love cauliflower cheese 😊
ОтветитьAh! Cauliflower & cheese. Haven't eaten it in absolutely ages so will definitely make it soon. At first, I'd no idea what you were talking about when you first mentioned the sausage but when I saw it, I said it's chorizo "SHO REE ZO" that's how we pronounce it here in France. A nice, spicy sausage to add a little punch to the quite bland cauliflower, great idea. Never thought of sprinkling over the top of the cooked dish crushed crisps, so thanks for the tip. Have subscribed to your channel, not forgetting to wish you a happy New Year, it's still time, I hope. Here in France, we can say it to folks up until the end of January but by that time, you feel like a broken record.
ОтветитьA pinch of nutmeg is always a nice addition when my Wife does one. We also use Wholesgrain as GF. I would rather this than an actual Roast.
ОтветитьCracking video Adam, you make me laugh 🤣
ОтветитьOh my goodness Adam, I always put crisps on top of my colly and cheese, I do the same when I have made chicken pasta and cheese sauce. Ooooohhhh yummy yum yum
ОтветитьHi Adam, haven’t heard from you for a couple of weeks, hope you’re ok mate 👍
ОтветитьMate, you've delivered another absolute BANGER! Anyone umming and ahhhing over making this should just crack on and go for it. One minor hiccup at my end was Satansbury's delivering a cauli the size of an orange and spring onions instead of shallots. However, I swapped in a head of broccoli and it all worked out fine. The salt-n-vinegar crisps were a revelation!
ОтветитьThis thing is lit. Really. Gonna try this.
ОтветитьLove cauliflower cheese x I hope you're doing ok Adam?? x
ОтветитьHi Adam, Just want to compliment you on your great recipies and super presentation, much appreciated here in Dublin, best wishes, Tony

Fanbloomingtastic Adam.
ОтветитьI love that will try it, got one for you to try peel cube and boil 4 large spuds cook 4 rashers of smoked bacon till well done and crumble it, fry 1 onion and 1 diced garlic clove with a tea spoon of chilli powder let all go cold then mix together in a dish, cover with a very cheesy sauce and bake till done , its fantastic . please give it a go.
ОтветитьDelicious cauliflower cheese 💖Clean your oven!
ОтветитьOmg Adam you have made my Sunday ...brilliant content and the commentary is absolutely so ME ......I have subscribed and will be smashing your back catalogue of video's ....cant wait ..tks
ОтветитьAmazing video Thankyou ! Can’t wait to try this out with my cauliflower 😂 😋
Ответитьi agree with you about cauliflower cheese being amain
ОтветитьGotta try this one! oh, and it just depends on which pronunciation of chorizo you prefer - you are using a
Portuguese pronunciation. I live in New Mexico, in Spanish, it's cho-Ree-so. (rrroll that "R") Tasty, any way you say it😉
Tried video on Cheesy Brussel sprouts? It's my favourite ❤
ОтветитьNever thought of using the leaves Good idea! It all looks great except the churizo I don't like it Guess I could substitute diced ham salami or bacon?
ОтветитьLooks good 😋
ОтветитьI love it as a main too, especially with bacon or chorizo.❤ love cauliflower soup too.
ОтветитьBloody marvellous Adam.. well done..!
Thanks for posting ,KCB.👍🇬🇧🙂
Thank you for the sausage skinning tips and the method of using the cauliflower leaves. Not many leaves on the grocery store product sold here in British Columbia, Canada. However more leaves come with farmer's market veggies. I'll use some of my precious supply of white pepper. Remember white pepper is usually much stronger tasting than black pepper so use a tame quantity. Nice topping with the potato chips "crisps".
ОтветитьTried this tonight, even adding the crisps. Swapped the English for Dijon mustard as a preference, and its an absolute belter! Thanks for recording this.
Ответить👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
ОтветитьThank you !
ОтветитьWill do this to the recipe looks fantastic but leave the crisps thanks 😊 👍
