I'm ready for fall weather so I am watching fall home tours 🍁
Your home is so nice and cozy and uncluttered. I love the white pumpkins.
The way you addressed personal choice regarding Halloween is very balanced and thoughtful 💡
I don't do Halloween but I never get into debates with others about it 😁
I do love candy corn and tiny candy bars though 😋

I really admire your positivity and the way you respond to comments. Celebrating holidays and traditions is such an interesting topic and varies a lot culture to culture, and also within a singular culture! Thanks for sharing!! Blessings to you and your family. You have a new subscriber. ❤️

Great explanation of why some choose to celebrate holidays for what they are now. I love the pumpkins and the holiday! We have the exact same couch (also Macy's). Love your photos.

So exciting! Love this time of year. Your skin looks amazing. Would you be willing to share which products you use on your face? I know you try to avoid chemicals as much as possible. I am trying to as well! Hugs!!

I’m Jewish and also celebrate halloween(I feel like there is nothing wrong with this holiday, I love spooky stuff and candy and dressing up and pumpkin flavored everything) either way it’s not like we are celebrating another religion if you get what I mean..I’m glad to find someone like me 🙏🏼

Your son is adorable. I was disappointed to see how much time you spent scattering Halloween decor throughout your new home and how there was absolutely no trace of a Sukkah. You have a beautiful home and family but I don’t see what this has to do with your Jewish Mommy life. SAD

You are so cute!! Love your videos! Thank you for teaching me about Judaism- I found out in 2015 that my Dad's whole side of the family is Jewish and I never knew so it's been nice to learn about it and connect it to that part of my identity.

You have an fabulous home, I’m curious as to how prices differ between your location and mine in the UK. Your home would cost somewhere around £450,000 to £600k within a 50 mile radius of my home in northern England. We’re the only Jewish household too lol. Chag Sameach Simchat Torah.

Halloween comes from an old Irish Celtic tradition. Celebrating the end of summer and start of winter. It dates back more than 2,000 years. It is now just great fun for kids dressing up and playing all the traditional games with apple's and pumpkins. In the US it is slightly more extravagant than Ireland. However, today I was looking at some amazing costumes in the shops for kids. Enjoy!

We celebrate Halloween but lets face it. It is about a two hour holiday. So I don't do a lot of decor at I g for two hours. The kids have a few Halloween the!ed items I. Their rooms but I prefer to decorate for the season of autumn. Also they can stay up till thanksgiving which is almost another month after Halloween. Seems more worth my effort😂

I think for decades the understanding of Thanksgiving has been and enjoyed as a harvest festival wherein we give thanks for the bounty of a land whose harvest lasts from May through November. Very few people go through the Puritans-Indians thing anymore because of the problems surrounding that in any land where there were migrations and slaughters, which is pretty much every continent. Halloween is an amalgam of All Saints/All Souls feast days and the wassailing in the British Isles during Advent and Walpurgisnacht in Germanic countries. So basically it can be dealt with as simply a time to dress up and share sweets and laugh together and be clever with costuming and decorations as part of autumn. It's fun for children. We do autumnal decorations for the whole season, but limit Halloween ones to October only. It gives kids a sense of time and place and the flow of life throughout the year in nature that we are part of. It's like bringing pine cones and evergreens into the home in winter to "green" the house. So it is with acorns and gourds and jack o'lanterns lit against the lessening light of fall.

Halloween can be a big no no here in Israel - People can get very offended if you want to teach about Halloween (like, if you own an English preschool like I do, and want to do some Halloween themes activities, sometimes my clients freak out about that)

To me being Irish I love Samhain, which is a traditional Gaelic word for end of Summer. Instead of Halloween. I love the holiday and this is my totally favorite time of year. I see Samhain or Halloween and fall in general, as God's teaching us through mother nature that Death is part of His plan and not something to be afraid of, as the leaves fall from the trees and everything dies, to be born again in the spring. So I see the seasons as Natures way of reminding us of God's plan for us as children of the natural world. i see it as a great way to teach little ones this teaching and it's fun too. Who doesn't love dressing up and getting candy lol. It's a way for us grownup to remember our childhoods and re-claim our innocence. Love your video thanks. Though October is " An Dàmhair," Samhain is November. Plus little ones need a day of fun this year more than last.
