a lotta stuff is really similar to ck2 more than its sequel, especially the province modifiers and how they spawn and work.
ОтветитьI think Estonia should be kept at that development level. It is very historical, just trust me bro.
Ответить"roads" puke, this sounds like vic2
ОтветитьMost of Balkans were very developed in 1300s, the development of the rest of Europe didn't actually happen until the fall of Constantinople, yes the plunder of crusaders and plunder of Constantinople has created a lot of welt in Europe but it was concentrated in power hungry monarchs.. sad to see such huge inaccuracies in Europe. When Mongols invaded they send their messages and spies to see how much wealth in Europe, they didn't even bother with Western Europe, but somehow you going to hear about this fairy tales of great Hungarian victory over the Mongols and how they stopped and protected Europe... For once can we see at least one Paradox game that has accurate representation of Europe.
Ответитьhow can we access map
ОтветитьStrategic taking-Copenhagen-reasons 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьCan development be reduced?
ОтветитьPeople seem to be bitching about India & China being well developed, but afaik, they had the biggest economies in the world. Curb your eurocentrism ig
ОтветитьI hope it wont be bare bones on launch, that we see some ACTUAL content for countries, unique troops, unique virtues and traits etc....
ОтветитьThey should have an activity-based auto-road builder, so factions like merchants, and activities like moving produce to market should generate roads based on the level of activity. Then you could purposefully make a road for military purposes on top of this with your active military units, or enlist populations of workers or slaves or something. This way 95% of roads would generate automatically and not be micromanaged by player…
ОтветитьSo since you are able to play as groups of people you should be able to play as pirates! Yarrr harrr the high seas call for me!
ОтветитьWhat the shnaps, how Latvia and Estonia can be so developed when in 1350 it was only forrest and fields while byzantine region full of building for more than 2000 years is less developed.
ОтветитьMoldova: presented on the map
Ludi: oh sh*t here we go again, "let me explain..."
Why are people so mad that they aren’t calling it eu5 yet? What’s the point in being so up in arms about it?
Ответитьimagine if northern Italy started the game united, it would practically dominate Europe, I already know which nations I will choose :)
ОтветитьBro, rediscovering roman stuff in the reinnassance? Similarities between the italian wars and tribal warfare? The hell did you drink today my man? 😂
ОтветитьThis game seems like the win PDX so desperately needs right now. Everything so far seems like a generation past everything they've done in the past, which is big cos pdx games have always been kinda iterative.
Poor Johan is giving this game his all post imperator... which is a shame because he righted that ship before he handed the reins to Arheo (sp?) Who then took the game onto even bigger heights. I think the whole running everything past the community first to make sure its what is expected is because of the expectations we had for imperator.
Hopefully this is a game Johan n his team can be proud of and are given the time and resources they need to deliver.
I hope we get a color blind setting. I cant see the diffrence between any of these colors with my red-green blindness.
ОтветитьSo basically playing tall is dead.
ОтветитьThis video is really putting Ludi’s eurocentrism on display lmao
Ответитьwait i thought they were doing imperator style population, not development
ОтветитьROADS!
Ответитьbased off of the size of the bonuses from development it looks like the only significant way to expand institution growth and population capacity is development, since the maximum pop capacity from development is 500% and the maximum institution spread increase is a whopping 1000% which does also imply that 100 dev locations are going to be impossible to get, let alone 80 at that scale
ОтветитьNorth India should have very low development historically as this was the period of the devastation caused due to the Islamic invasions. Historically, from the 1100s to the 1500s, north India would be a largely rural at best semi rural area because of the Delhi Sultans. It was not until the Mughals (especially Akbar) that urbanisation of some degree returned back to northern India. The only regions in northern India one could say would have had a degree of development would be the area of Rajasthan due to the fact that it was still ruled by the native Hindu kings.
Large parts of Southern India on the other hand would be much more developed than Northern India as it was not yet devastated to the extend North India was by the Islamic invasions.
Somebody please get this message across to the forums.
Why do I have to be employed when EU5 releases 😭
ОтветитьHow come denmark is less developed than Estonia, seems a bit off tbf
ОтветитьCan't wait to play this in 2yrs when it's on sale for an affordable price on humble bundle and some of the bugs are fixed.
Ответитьoh fun to see my pc smoking :/ if i try that
ОтветитьAchievement idea: RNGsus Take the Wheel
As a Christian of any other denomination, win a battle against a Calvinist whilst outnumbered 2 to 1.
"Early" Renaissance works can actually be viewed in the Byzantine Empire and Bulgaria in the balkans.
Such as the "Tetraevangelia of Ivan Alexander" for example
north italy is op
ОтветитьI want to play tall, I really do - but technologies always have inherent mechanics to not let you go too much ahead. Development slows down the more you have of it, too. I really hope that EU V will provide us with A LOT more things to do outside of war, including making our provinces better. Cause while I love EU series, no matter how much I want to sometimes play tall, I find out that blobbing and painting the map your colour just works better every single time.
ОтветитьTinto is likely to announce EU5 before Christmas and open pre-sales? Expected completion 2026 or something.
ОтветитьI really hope EU5 wont be empty like CK3 or boring like Vic3
Ответитьchinas development is a joke
ОтветитьYeah, if this stays, we need a mod that makes China and India less developed, that's completely ahistorical :D Even regions that have 0 dev today are as developed as Milan or Rome. Feels like they want to cater to the western woke bubble and the chinese and indian nationalists.
ОтветитьHaving a battle in a province wouldn’t they increase development. Peasants used to pick through the field and dead for anything valuable.
Ответить400 years of ottoman incursion, you mean mongol invasion my little shoplifter?
ОтветитьValahia si Moldova tre sa fie mai dezvoltate adica sa nu fie mai slabi ca Anglia !😅
ОтветитьIf we're serious than Moldova has to have more development 'couse it has a lot of arable land, no?
ОтветитьHopefully there is a different types of occupation. I think it would be understandable if a HRE prince occupying a fellow price would be different than a horde occupying a polish city or something like that.
Maybe accepted culture would lessen the occupation detestation? Or you can set a policy so your occupation isn’t as harsh
Tf is this? 😂
EU4 Map covers the whole world, so who tf would you want LESS?
Rome is too high dev and sicily should be higher dev.
Same for denmark too, should be higher dev.
hahaha most of norway lower dev than the desert in Arabia, what a joke
ОтветитьWhy don't you eat less?
Ответитьnot tribes but yk humans gonna human.
Ответитьall of germanny being on par with bohemia makes little sense no? wasn't bohemia quite prosperous even pre Charles IV?
