Finding your own authenticity as a witch

I read that too about candles but I feel as you do. So I do my own thing and blow the candles outs

In regards to the candle snuffing, what I have heard/read is that blowing out candles is "an affront to the element of fire." That never really vibed with me. There have been a few times I wanted to snuff a candle, mostly cuz of where the candle was sitting, but I don't even own a snuffer lol

I agree with the candle thing. I remember just starting out and reading so much. Scott Cunningham claimed it was disrespectful to deity/universe/elements/whatever, to blow them out. I always blow them out. Its putting my breath, my energy, a little extra into whatever I'm using them for. Its such an important thing to follow your gut! I just watched the live and loved it. I came into the conversation so late I had missed most of it. We need to get together! You can't be more than 15-20 minutes away from me. I hope you enjoyed the full moon💜

I too read the candle thing in a beginner book i read years ago and I thought it was weird.i actually just recently got a candle snuffer and I only use it if i remember its there lol....been blowing out candles so long....birthday candles....we make wishes and then blow those out....so does that mean we are snuffing out our wishes? Lmao....i personally have never seen someone candle snuff a birthday cake lmao😜😄
