The chemicals in sunscreen destroy all the ecology in the ocean. Both fish and corals. It also is a major cause of cancer in humans. It’s a lose lose but cancer is a big $$ making business so the propaganda keeps getting pumped to slather it on. The best thing we can do for ourselves and our precious oceans is to not wear sunscreen, and just lye under an umbrella instead. Go to the beach early or later in the day so you don’t get burned. In Botswana they’re really proactive about protecting their river systems and wildlife so they actually ban sunscreen which is amazing. I wish we did that here in Australia.
ОтветитьAnyway it is stupid to go in Monsoons and give a review about it.
ОтветитьJust sayin ... I would rather inject myself with smoke from a plant then a foreign fluid ...
ОтветитьI've been phi phi island in july 1st 2022
ОтветитьWas one of the last lucky people to go to maya bay and be able to camp the night. It was windy so no boats went but ours took us round the back ( where the new pear is) and we had to swim and climb up a rope. So lucky to have not one single boat in the bay ❤️❤️
ОтветитьPhi phi is definitely worth it !!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHey! My channel is pretty new and that’s on my Bucket list for next year. Can’t wait to go explore Thailand.
Cheers to everyone watching this 😊
Still looks lovely, we stayed in Rayleigh Bay when we went and was wonderful, arguably as good as the islands we visited that you showed to do. Either way. Its an amazing fun trip to do. Thanks for sharing dude. Loving the vlog stylee
ОтветитьWe are on our trip too now
Enjoy Thailand
Greetz from koh phangan 😊👍
Phi Phi was great. We were there in september, went snorkeling at Phi Phi Lee, rented a kayak to go to the actual Monkey Beach (the one you showed is a main tourist stop on the way to Phi Phi Lee and not that nice, especially considering the trafffic). I think the island is really beautiful and worth your time, it has a really nice vibe, beautiful sunsets, really good food (no lack of options, how many options do you really need!?!) and especially with a kayak you can have a bit of an adventure off the beaten path ;)
ОтветитьCan't wait to go back to Thailand
ОтветитьBeen following you since almost the beginning. Love the old blog style. The fan of the day was a great flash back. Awesome Thailand series
ОтветитьAlicia keys 😂
ОтветитьThese are the people that have destroyed Thailand!
ОтветитьI always wanted to go to Thailand & finally visited in 2019 and it just wasn't what I expected. I found that all the Thai locals had a massive disdain for tourists and there was a weird undercurrent. I witnessed gross tourists disrespecting beatiful places and taking advantage of local women so i completly understood why the locals had a negative opinion. It honestly made me feel uncomfortable & guilty. The only time I didn't experience this was inland where there were very few tourists.
ОтветитьNice I was there yesterday, traveling Thailand a few months
Ответить“This is a hidden gem spot” proceeds to say it is so so busy 😂😂
ОтветитьTourism is destroying planet.
Ответитьi visited in 2018 during the DRY season.. The snorkeling is Way better talking 35 ft straight down clear as crystal why did you not go to beautiful view point overlooking the city. and yes it smells in the wet season because of the rain, going into the sewer... come on man why go during peak wet season?
ОтветитьI've been watching your videos since the beginning and I honestly have to say that this "new girl" that you have is horrible. No real offense but she has no excitement for what she is doing and seems very fake. But it's just my opinion.
Ответитьi love 🇹🇭
ОтветитьThanks for being real, I’ve been in Krabi for a week now (Nov 2022) and the smell is terrible here too. Heading to Phi Phi for the night and was debating on more nights but I need power and wifi so thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьThe only thing I hate about you is how you complain about other tourists! Bro, without humans all these places will be lonely and boring 😴
ОтветитьNice one, certainly looks like a beautiful place. Never been there , hopefully get there end of next year. Need to broaden my horizons. Always go to Bangkok or pattaya. Cheers
Ответить1800 baht for the 3hr boat rental would be around $26 each.👍
ОтветитьWhy do I automatically think most Americans are wankers. (not offence intended) The idea he thinks its 'kinds sad' that wanker 'Booze Cruises' are not allowed in Maya Bay to destroy it, as they destroy everywhere like locust, sorta makes me so angry. Thailand would be better off banning these people for life. Phi Phi was awesome pre Tsunami but it was destroyed in 2004 and changed forever. The fact he thinks it skinks makes me wonder where he thinks the sewage goes he on an island in the middle of the sea. Koh Phi Phi was better before wankers like him ever located it.
ОтветитьWe went to phi phi after the sunami they were getting back on the feet very little electricity no one there amazing
ОтветитьIf you think it's changed now, you should have seen what it was like in 1993, the first time I went there. Nothing but basic bungalows for 50 baht and the power would sometimes go out. A time when it was a true backpacker's stop off the beaten path, but without the Full Moon Party scene. Boy do I miss it.
ОтветитьMy first time in Koh Phi Phi was in 2011. I fell in love with it. The people, the parties (girls from all over the world), the atmosphere, the ocean. Since then I came back like 4-5 times and stayed there for a whole month each time, but unfortunately every time I came back it slowly got worse. The last time I was there was right before covid. It was over crowded, smelly piece of magicless commercial Island. The beach is so dirty I can't even believe it's the same place I visited in 2011. Looking for the next Island to settle in for my trips.
ОтветитьI m in love with u...I think I have seen all ur videos again and again
ОтветитьHi! When did u go there? It would mean a lot if u could reply❤
ОтветитьWhen I visited it was closed, it was boat only. It's definitely one of the best holidays of my life. Monkeys have rabies, i would suggest feeding them..
Ответитьhey! ali number ? vs agente?
ОтветитьA beach where you can’t swim? Lol I’ll pass. Railey looks very similar anyway.
ОтветитьSOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE HER ONE PIECE IS FROM???
ОтветитьIt reminds me of HA Long Bay.
ОтветитьWhen booking the boat trip how did you do it? Online prior or when you were there? Me and my sister will be going next year in a hotel near rowai beach and we’re looking at taking some boat trips but don’t know where to look
ОтветитьAs a Thai, I visited Phi Phi in early 2000. The island was raw. Maya Bay then was stunning. Millions of fish swam near the beach. Then it went down hill with tourism. Good news was the bay was closed for few years before reopening.
ОтветитьThe chaos turned me off too! Been there once in 2007 and meh!
ОтветитьDude.
You overhyped canggu ...
I have been watching you for years. Your my fav travel vlogger 😊 Thank you Christian
ОтветитьStill looks lovely, we stayed in Rayleigh Bay when we went and was wonderful, arguably as good as the islands we visited that you showed to do. Either way. Its an amazing fun trip to do. Thanks for sharing dude. Loving the vlog stylee
ОтветитьThank you for explaining proximity to Phi Phi island! sometimes its so hard to plan trips based off the map and I appreciate you saying this can be just a day trip from other locations! very helpful insight :)
ОтветитьHi! My boyfriend and I are going to Phiphi tomorrow, what kind of excursion / trip do you recommend? We'd like a private boat maybe you have someone you recommend?
Ответитьvideo is a bit annoying. make solo videos! w/o the baggage
ОтветитьIs it worth travelling Phuket during September month ????
Ответитьskinny Canadian face what happened anyway first time I came to maya bay nobody was there this was May of 1999
