Since we Are in the computer age, I see no reason why I should be subjected to the old style six-pack gauges. I read that it’s too much eye movement anyway where the Garmin makes it all easier. Could old Cessna 172 and 185’s be converted to Garmin displays?
ОтветитьInteresting but your host really needed some more practice and the camera iris seemed too hot for the close-ups of the displays. Also, since there are so many modes, it there a one button return to "favorite" display in case you're really up to your eyeballs in bad WX or turbulence?
ОтветитьWhy doesn’t Garmin offer a G3 with a built in IFR WAAS ? Or offer a remote IFR WAAS box because some of us don’t have the real estate in tandem cockpits to add a GTN to the panel but do have room for the G3.
