Made in France 😂
Ответитьcreole oil? cajun fries?
ОтветитьCreole was always some form/blend of the varied group & not just French and Portuguese.
ОтветитьIm watching interview with the vampire show and the lead is creole..
ОтветитьSo sir do you speak Cajun French??
ОтветитьI wish I knew some for friends ❤
Ответить"Dont be stupid. You need to know them,"
slowly closes the gap between the two
Cajuns are white and creoles are Black(kinda/a little bit)😂
ОтветитьDo you perhaps know of the differences between them & those of the neighbors such as of Mississippi, Alabama & Florida panhandle?
ОтветитьWorked with 6 girls from Louisiana, near my city, (Pittsburgh). I was shocked that all of them had different distinct , accents, (all weee from different parts of the state, but still, 😂).
The girl from New Orleans, was the one that I had trouble understanding. She talked so fast! 😂
However, they definitely had no problems understanding wach otter.
I thought they were the same thing
ОтветитьFrench Acadians also settled in Northern Maine near Canada.
ОтветитьWe still have Acadians in Canada
ОтветитьSame in new Spain, Los Criollos (The Creoles) were the kids of the settlers. We the mix people were Los Mestizos.
ОтветитьThis is true ☺️🙂 I am proud to be Creole 🙂 Yes 👍 Sir
ОтветитьFunny how you threw voodoo in there so quickly that if I hadn't paused to read the difference, I would have missed it. There seems to be quite a few differences. Which I always wondered if there was a difference or if they were interchangeable.
ОтветитьI had to go back and rewatch this a few times. 😂 I’m ready for a pop quiz now.
ОтветитьButch enby here! Men shop at Walmart, Or Carhartt but my dad’s a construction worker so that might just be my family. Essentially go anywhere a contractor shops and that’s most men I know.
I personally sew my own clothes because I’m cheap and I have time, or go to secondhand shops(army surplus, thrift and what-not)
same same
ОтветитьAren't creoles descendants of black slaves from Haiti and french colonials escaped from the island or afro americans and lousiana french settlers and cajuns?
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьKenyan here. I have had Cajun before. It's really delicious. Full of flavour.
ОтветитьWhat about the illusive coonass? LOL! Raises hand
ОтветитьNo, you have Americans.
ОтветитьSo creole is Puerto rican
ОтветитьSo they are different because they are basically the same?
ОтветитьReal meaning:
Cajun: White
Creole: Black
This isn’t racist, it’s what it is.
“Cajun”, from Acadian - Cadian - Cajan - Cajun is of european descent
Creole is of French-colonised Carribean descent such as Haïti
The picture you used when you said “native ancestry” is the cover from a book that my grandma wrote! Very cool to see
ОтветитьI appreciate this quick lesson <3
ОтветитьNot the same ...... same lol 😆
ОтветитьMany of them "made their way down" to Louisaina... LOL.
ОтветитьThe common source between Cajun and Creole is the French language, but it's an "old" French, but we can understand each other if you articulate well.
French from France has nothing to do with the old world, that's normal it's a living language that evolves with time, bisous de France. ❤
Make no mistake, the biggest threat to your unique cultures' existence is the xenophobe in chief at the moment of writing this comment.
Ответитьhow you say that cajun is one thing and creole is another then say that cajun people are q kind of creole ppl
Ответитьi’m cajun
Ответить❤️
ОтветитьI'm obsessed with your guys' cultures. I wish I lived in New Orleans.
ОтветитьBS...Cajun are NOT a subset of creole.
ОтветитьLike they say you learn something new everyday
ОтветитьNova Scotia ,New Brunswick and Prince Edwards Island . And got deported in 1755 ..Le grand derangement .The deportation of the Acadians
ОтветитьThis was short and taught a lot. (I hope it is accurate).
I am From Australia and so from the other side of the Planet I just love the languages they have, while knowing little about the culture and history, and now I know more than I did a minute ago.
Can the guys speak a little faster? This video is useless. You can’t understand it.
ОтветитьMy son’s dad is a Creole from the 7th Ward of NOLA. Love the Louisiana culture, true definition of a melting pot of gumbo lol
ОтветитьCoucou les cousins
ОтветитьI’m from Louisiana and I’ll tell everyone the difference
Before Louisiana became apart of the USA in the mid 1800s majority of the population spoke French. But you had white people who spoke French and black people who spoke French
Cajuns are Europeans. Creole are African.
Hahaha! Bonne explication ... je crois. J’ai jamais pu discerner la diff moi-même. Ils sont tous des gens le-fonne.
ОтветитьYup.
ОтветитьThis is dumb. What are you even doing?
ОтветитьAye my names nova…
ОтветитьDon't be stupid, know the difference. ALSO You cant tell em apart 😂😂😂
