Asking “what happens to Rwandans when resources are diverted to deportees” is a stupidity question. In 1990, Rwanda’s president said something similar about Rwandans who were living in exile. Back then, Rwanda had a population of 6 million. Today, it has over 13 million, and Rwandans are far better off than they were at that time.
