Our 8 year old is nonverbal autistic and we have 3 younger brothers. It’s so valuable hearing your insight as younger siblings. Thank you.
ОтветитьMidge n Anna stole their mum's faces omg 🤯 (watching this ep for the 3rd time in 4 days).
ОтветитьAmazing! Been watching a lot of these videos lately because I love the show and you 2 are both my fav families to watch and learning about your personal experiences that we don’t get to see on the show is just so heart warming and helps me( and us, the people in the world) to understand everything. Over all I think to sum it up, be there for your family no matter what. And bring joy and understanding 🩷 being loved and supportive. Always give unconditional love. 🩷
ОтветитьConnor and Tanner are so blessed to have the siblings they do! Y’all are amazing
ОтветитьI love the openness you all shared! It helps me as a mom whose daughter has dyslexia and some other learning differences. I can relate as a mom seeing my friends have kids same age and they didn’t have any issues, and were doing different things, at the time seeing my friends’ family on social media made me feel a little sad to see. I appreciate you sharing! (Re: Lise’s question about having a rift with friends who have kids same age) 🫶🏻
ОтветитьI ❤ Midge! 🤩
ОтветитьThis is an amazing podcast! I love hearing these questions and responses.
ОтветитьI wish they had some kind of opportunities , programs near where we live.
ОтветитьMy youngest sister was diagnosed with autism at age 3, she is now 32 and this episode made me cry in how much I felt myself mirrored in the sibling experience - from childhood to now her adult life. Thank you for creating a such beautiful space for families that share in the autism journey to grow, learn, and celebrate ❤

ОтветитьI appreciate how honest you all are. What wonderful mothers you both must be that your kids feel safe to share their true feelings.
ОтветитьAbsolutely so grateful for this chat! I have two severe boys 4 and 5, so we are in the trenches right now and absolutely loving this hopeful view from 20 years in the future!
ОтветитьI cannot imagine having parents you can just go to for everything, much less having a dad you can talk to about fears or feelings.
It makes me so happy to see families like yours who have each other's back. A real gift.
I agree. There is nothing for adults with autism.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to start something ?!? I work for the Board of Disabilities in my county and I may just do that!!! Want to join me?
I love learning about y’all! It’s great to see families so close to each other and so supportive!!!
ОтветитьLove this! As a mom of a “nonverbal” 10 year old on the spectrum, it is wonderful hearing the siblings perspectives. It’s not easy and you do feel like you aren’t always as present for the other kiddos. It’s nice to hear that everything can be ok 😊
ОтветитьConnors sister looks amazing ❤
ОтветитьThis was such a great video. Very honest, understanding and loving. I love it. Helps me realize things about my and mom mom’s relationship. 💕
ОтветитьYou all rock! I am in awe of you sisters and moms.
ОтветитьAs a Mom of a late diagnosed daughter who is 30. I am so happy to finally have some Moms to look to and know I am not alone ❤
ОтветитьI'm 26 and my little brother is autistic and I couldn't have been more blessed to have him in my life. I'm 10 years older and he taught me so many things that I wouldn't learn anywhere else. Thank you so much for spreading awareness. It's awesome to hear from the sisters and the other siblings because this is the first time I could relate regarding this topic. You girls are so amazing!
ОтветитьFor people doing audio only, it would’ve been helpful to explain Madelyn = Midge 😌
ОтветитьOmg I felt horrible around minute 12 when they panned to Midge (s/p?) with the glass child question because I legitimately forgot she was on. 😭
I resonate with Anna & have a similar feeling about not being resentful but resilient. I learned as I got older that while being resilient was great, in order to be that you had to have a certain backstory. I pushed myself, not because my family pressured me to but because I saw the full picture and I didn’t want to add to the hardship. I think that’s why I’m not resentful because I made that decision. I had autonomy. I did still receive love and support, but I know I wanted more & my resilience/self sufficiency made it easy for my parents to focus on the other things that needed attention.
👏🏻👏🏻 another fantastic podcast ladies and so important for all families to hear! ❤❤
ОтветитьWhen I first watched Love On The Spectrum, I noticed not only how incredible the whole cast is, but the parents and family members of the cast are incredible as well! You guys are so awesome!
ОтветитьThese girls are the best❤🥲 what a great conversation. I love the transparency and the ability to talk openly about your experiences!
ОтветитьThank you for this video. My daughter is only 6 months old and I don't want her to ever feel less than her ASD brother. This video gave he so much peace. You guys are such wonderful souls!!!❤🫂 love you all. GOD BLESS Y'all. Thanks for the talk sis.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьI don't know how I stumbled on this but I'm so glad I did! I do watch the show and LOVE it and all of you!!!, and I happen to be a sibling of one sister with special needs, and another with lifelong ADD and anxiety/eating disorders and most recently a stroke as a result-- so this conversation is incredibly touching!!! I'm sitting here crying, very much relating to you Anna, feeling like I was the one with her stuff together and the other siblings needed more attention than me, but it didn't mean I didn't also need it <3 These siblings make us and our families who we are, that's for sure!!! Sending love to you all!
ОтветитьThis episode was so impactful. Thank you so much for sharing openly and honestly.
ОтветитьY’all are amazing!
ОтветитьSo excited for this podcast!!!
ОтветитьAmazing sisters and amazing moms. Also I think close family with siblings help tremendously with their sibling on the spectrum.
ОтветитьI am 43 and trying to have my first baby. It took a long time for me to decide to be a mom because it scares me. Now I am going trough IVF using an egg donor. It still scares me, but I must say that it is inspiring to watch you guys. I want to have that same loving and open relationship with my kids. All the best to you!
ОтветитьDaughters are just…the best ❤
ОтветитьYahoo!! ❤
ОтветитьLighting and camera quality needs to be better. I think it’ll draw in more viewers ❤
ОтветитьLoved this episode! ❤
ОтветитьI love this podcast!!! Thank y’all for giving of yourselves to tell your stories and provide help & hope to families who need to hear all about your journeys. I’m watching simply because y’all are so inspiring and entertaining. I met Tanner via his video on SBSK….I was SO moved by his positivity and joyful nature in that video. I was SUPER pumped to find out he is on LOTS, binged Season 1 & 2 in 2 nights and was relieved I only had to wait a few weeks for Season 3 to Air, binged that in no time…so thrilled for both Tanner and Connor on their success with LOTS!! Keep up the great work Ladies!!! I’m watching!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis was amazing !!!! The mother daughter relationships chats too. My brother has severe adhd and dyslexia, this made me think about and process so much. Thank you for your honesty and vulnerability. You are 5 incredible woman xxx
ОтветитьAnna is so well spoken
ОтветитьWould love to see a video about genetic testing, your thoughts on it, and if you had your sons genetically tested.
ОтветитьLoved watching this👌
ОтветитьY'all are amazing. Thank you so much for this conversation.
ОтветитьI have enjoyed seeing the mothers and sibling interaction which is so very important in neurodiverse families. I laugh, learn and cry along with you. It would be amazing to see a Mom chat with other moms from LOTS. June is such a sweetheart ❤❤
Ответитьloved loved loved this episode! such great questions, even more amazing answers. truly enjoyed listening in on this one. ♥️
Ответитьsuch a beautiful conversation! thank you for authentically sharing 🩵
ОтветитьThis video should have so many more views, this was so insightful and impactful. Thanks to all the girls for sharing their experiences to the world, that must be so scary and requires real bravery
