OK I'm from Vojvodina which is a autonomous province of Serbia and it feels like no place else in the world. We were part of Hungary for some 900 years so there's obviously a significant Hungarian minority and cultural influence but it's also been multi ethnic for centuries. There are several official languages and like that we have several countries and regions in our province, we have Hungarian, Romanian, Slovakian, Ruthenian snd Czech cities and villages. Can you imagine, there's a village called Česka Ves in Serbia? Or Ruski Krstur where Ruthenians live while they're denied existence in Ukraine. We have several various religions and churches Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Calvinist, Lutheran, Greek Catholic etc. even small villages with 2-3000 inhabitants often have two or three churches and it's been like that for centuries. Only thing we're missing are our Germans(Swabians) because communists decided to expel them after WW2.
