Absolutely one of the most beautiful turned pieces I have ever, and I mean ever, saw in my life. I have seen a lot of lathe work and it would be difficult to try and remember a piece of the caliber to even match it to. The quality of work you do in second to none and I look forward to seeing more of your craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing it with us.
ОтветитьI am now in love with bhilwara! Thank you for teaching me about chatoyance in wood! It truly is like a cat's (tiger's) eye! I love everything about this gorgeous bowl, from its sensuous shape to it's stunning chatoyance! ❤
ОтветитьMy goodness that is a beautiful piece ❤
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful bowl, well done. Out of curiosity and I’ve watched other wood turners do the same, why do you polish the outside before turning the inside? 😊
ОтветитьBeautiful colors and simplicity of shape…love it!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьJust beautiful.
ОтветитьI have to ask, man. Where do you get your wood?
ОтветитьThis is so different and beautiful. I'm just stunned. Incredible job!

ОтветитьWe are waiting for you, David, on the warmest of embers, where do you go this long
ОтветитьNo words to describe your talent. I could watch your videos instead of TV!
ОтветитьStunningly beautiful. I’m not familiar with that wood, this is the first Ive seen it. But it is the most beautiful wood I’ve ever seen. I cannot tell you how much I love this bowl. Thank you for sharing your amazing creativity and talent with all of us.
ОтветитьSeems to have a bit of chatoyance to it.
ОтветитьI appreciate the calming music as I watch your videos
Ответить❣️❣️❣️
ОтветитьLovely work. I’ve seen several of your videos and each is amazing onto itself! Wish I knew about wood turning about 40+ years ago, when I had the space and money to do this. But now, I watch and throughly enjoy watching you and others share you time and talent with us, your followers❣️❣️❣️
ОтветитьSuch a beautiful wood and therefore your relatively simple shaped bowl (for you😉) showed it to its true advantage. The peaceful music and skilful videography is much appreciated by me and my “mindfulness). Thankyou x

Hi David, Congratulations on the Big Yes. I've been married nearly 40 years. Life is so much better with my Nancy, that words escape me to explain the Love we have. Of course we've had Mountains and Valleys in all our years together but we've gotten through because of Love. God Bless and please don't forget us for to Long. You are beyond an Artist.

ОтветитьAbsolutely stunning.
ОтветитьI must have missed this one!
Damn, what a gorgeous piece of wood and I must say, so wonderfully turned.
I'm amazed the amount of different finishes you apply, (to great affect, of course). Very impressed with the walnut wax.
Do the wood fairy's come at night and leave you with all these exotic woods? <green with envy> (LOL)
Great job, as usual, David. One day, just one day I'll . . .

ОтветитьBeautiful job David with beautiful wood, the like of which I have never seen. The finish you achieved makes this piece really 'zing'. Thanks so much.
ОтветитьSimple, yet beautiful bowl. I love the deep, rich grains and the shine you added with the oils and waxes. Another great creation.
