the spin at the end on the knees thrilled me more than any triple axle, so unexpected and artisitc! so much emotion. I wish more skating videos like this were made without the bright glaring lights and the annoying commentators and clapping and just the pure art of it all. This was so thrilling to watch . The camera work was also just so superb. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Seen a lot of figure skating performances, this still stands as one of the most powerful ones for me. I feel competitions stress too much on the techniques and not the act as a whole. This is truly dancing on ice, complete with emotions and techniques and we can't help but watch in awe. You're a winner, whether the world recognises you or not ❤❤

when you're feeling depressed, always remember that there's always an asian better than you.

vincent should be very proud of himself, this choreo clearly had great emotional impact. imo, a lot of competitive skating lacks emotion and artistry now. a well choreographed, pared down clean skate like this has the capacity to really touch ppl, and bring in an audience that otherwise wouldnt much care for figure skating (and of course the camerawork and lighting is doing a lot of work there too). compare that to a program that is packed with quads but doesnt leave the viewer with any sense of what the music was actually ABOUT.
