I've watched this so many times 😂
Ответить“Except chicken will eventually be called poultry”
“And when will that be done sir?”
“If only I knew”
Nate’s ability not to break is awesome!
ОтветитьNo love for 20 = a score or 144 = a gross
ОтветитьOnly a moron would cross that river.
Unfortunately, for the British, our nations president was on the other side
What are the 2 ways to spell jeff?
ОтветитьFun fact! We actually have the French to blame for English having a different word for when animals are alive vs. after they're butchered. Around the 1400's, England was basically owned and operated by France. (a gross simplification but basically true) Before that, when people talked about an animal's meat, beef for example would have been cow or cow meat, like most languages. Then the French took over and their cooks insisted the peasants that sold meat to the castles and manors call what they brought by the Old French terms. They mainly brought beef, pork and mutton as those were the most popular for the nobility. My guess as to why fish and chicken stayed the same is that they just weren't as popular to the nobility.
ОтветитьWas Nate's airplane vid took down?😢 What happened to liberty?
ОтветитьSo damn true.
I’m so old, I still remember when I was younger and buffalo wings became mainstream here in the Midwest and I was super confused about it because I didn’t have a computer, no one did, because we were poor as all hell but my best friend had a rich uncle who worked for Microsoft and in 6th or 7th grade he mailed him this AWESOME state of the art computer and we would search and chat and he’d actually drive over his computer when we finally turned 16 to my apartment and let me borrow his computer for the weekend. I’d stay on it as long as I could.
Then I dated a middle class girl who’s dad had a computer and I’d go over 24/7 to play on the computer! Lol.
Stupid WOKE SNL Kinda makes ya puke
ОтветитьBuy a mattress of course 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThis was so good. 😂😂😂
Ответить😅😂🤣
ОтветитьNate should have said a dozen is 12 or 13, a baker’s dozen
ОтветитьWe also use “score” for sometimes means 20 and other times infinity 😊
ОтветитьChicken is Poultry and 12×12= 144 or Gross and like all SNL skits poorly researched and poorly done!!!
Ответить“Everything. All of it.”
ОтветитьNate’s the best.
Love this character.
“…but a mattress.”
Stupid way with a “G” 😅😅😅
ОтветитьNo real American would want to know what’s in a hot dog 😂
ОтветитьThe next sketch should combine Washington and Trump. The setup should be: Washington couldn't tell a lie, and Trump couldn't tell the truth.
Ответить“Dozen” is used in Britain, and “Geoffrey” is a British spelling.
ОтветитьBest SNL sketch since Col. Angus
ОтветитьFunniest funny!!!
ОтветитьI love the dry delivery of Washington, like he knows he’s selling a bad idea🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьHe was legit drunk & slurring his words ...I cannot be the only one noticing that!
ОтветитьA “gross” is 144
ОтветитьNot nearly as good as the first one. Most of these things aren't unique to America or to English even.
ОтветитьGet out.
ОтветитьActually, Chickens are called poultry.
ОтветитьLet's see how they mock God chosen
ОтветитьYou can see how ignorant SNL is
ОтветитьTrue being fluent is a countries language will make you more qualified and successful
ОтветитьI really really want there to be a
“ we will drive on parkways, and park on driveways” joke…
Like i really need someone to explain to me that logic…
OMG. These are the two best skits ever. I hope there is a third one eventually...in this great nation.
ОтветитьBargatze has the best flat delivery since Bob Newhart. Funny stuff.
ОтветитьPoultry. You know you were thinking it.
Ответить😂 "but sir, shouldn't we know what's in a hot dog?
"get out."
the preemptive declaration of a 4th of July holiday
ОтветитьI think this was Nate's writing, either way, brilliant!!
ОтветитьI've died
ОтветитьSorry I'm out of the loop but who is that host guy? This is too funny 🤣
ОтветитьThis seriously needs to be its own standalone comedy series. Nate is hilarious
ОтветитьUSA has turned into a disgrace under leadership (read: shitshow) of Trump
ОтветитьWhat shall be on the back sir? 😂😂everything all of it
ОтветитьDozen is it's own word because 12 is a pretty important number historically. Base 12 is an extremely useful counting system and it dominates most peoples live without them even thinking about it, especially in western societies. It is also extremely important in religious and mythological symbolism.
Chicken is poultry.
Both hamburger and buffalo wing are named after the city.
When hot dogs were named there was a VERY real chance that they might contain actual dog meat.
Dollar came from the late-middle English 'daler' which was a large silver coin from Germany, which is what the peso looked like at the time. So they started used the phrase 'Spanish daler' instead of peso and the name just stuck in America.
Kindergarten isn't an American invention and, though it's technically a grade now, it used to be more akin to preschool.
"Nobody Knows" .... "get out of the boat"🤣
