If you're a one-shot-able mage vs Malenia, the summon just heals her the first phase. We found it easier without. Ranni's Moon x2, Rykard's Rancor x2 to reset frostbite, potion, repeat.

Black Blade works for phase two, though, since she actually dodges.

(What we didn't realize is people don't often 1v1 Malenia, apparently)
