Very cool; thank you for doing this on a livestream. Equally relaxing and exciting to watch
ОтветитьLove what you guys do! I wish the VGHF was located near me, I’d gladly donate my time working on this kind of stuff. Keep grinding!
ОтветитьDoes anyone know where I can find this chiptune version of Lean On? It's killer
ОтветитьI said this yesterday during stream - but you have a piece of MSX history in your collection there. You have the release version of Arkanoid 2 spread out over 4 roms. The spreadsheet has been reformatted so I cannot ready some cells anymore 096+097+098+095 has a SHA1 checksum of 1642891B693DF616F27431299352E1D7750AC94B which corresponds with the official cart dump.
ОтветитьI hope the fancy chip reader is good at preventing any future preservation disasters like the unfortunate Estpolis II early beta corruption.
ОтветитьThanks a lot for dumping the ROMs! I managed to generate different ROMs of Arkanoid 2 (MSX2), most of them are for testing bosses and ending. The 036 ROM dump seems corrupted. The first chunk of bytes is quite similar to Ashiguine 1 (Bit2). Bit2 is known for developing for other companies (e.g.: for TAITO or Konami). Could you dump it again using different settings/pinout?
ОтветитьI had very quickly recognized that later mystery game as whatever the Japanese version of Demon Sword was called.
ОтветитьI can partially read that last mystery game title ??伝説 失われた巻物 (something Densetsu: Ushinawareta Makimono). Doesn't come up as a known game when I put what I can in Google. That first character is just difficult for me to recognize. I do find it weird it has both the old and current Taito logos (the newer one first used in Famicom games, or at least on the cover art and cartridge designs, in 1989. If that is another clue.)
