I have a similar one from harbor freight and it works fine. 3ton jack for $59 on sale can't beat the price
ОтветитьThe 2 ton looked more rugged and had more lift.
ОтветитьI got those steel ramps such a long time ago Ronald Reagan was president of the United States.
Ответитьlol
Ответить6:43 moving up in the world lol, awesome videos.
ОтветитьYou paid 159 bucks for that hunk of junk? u can get the 3 ton jacks for like 70 bucks when there on sale!
Ответитьparts list? u think u can call up china and get parts for that?
Ответитьyes....lol
ОтветитьThat is good to know.
ОтветитьThere is always a jerk like eagle94haslanded, going through life with a chip on their shoulder, lol. must really suck to be him.
Ответить@ducklandwickeno: you probably didn't bleed the system first
ОтветитьThat's awesome Rich, very nice!
ОтветитьBy the way eagle94haslanded (more like crow has landed), your $70 floor jacks are steel and not low profile. The floor jack reviewed in this video is ALUMINUM and it is LOW PROFILE.....can you pronounce that?
Ответитьeagle94haslanded, nah, the whole tool can be bought for the price of one of your over inflated snap on small parts. I bet you squandered a bunch of savings on snap on. sad
ОтветитьI have seen those $70 jacks and you are right they do not compare to this one.
Ответить"wow look at that, wholy mackerel"
Ответитьlooks a tidy jack, good vid.
ОтветитьWeak, left hand. Insert if you know what i mean meme.
ОтветитьYa
ОтветитьI wanted to buy this jack, but saw so many scary reviews. I was going to call a hydraulic shop to see what could be done to make it safer. The first poster below said: "doubt it has wiper rings protecting the ram". I have looked at many aluminum racing jacks from Craftsman to TORIN at Northern Tool and they all seem kind of hit and miss.... Here's that one review:

Rich, keep us up to date on how your jack holds up or if there is maybe some upgrade to do to the seals which is what I was going to ask a hydraulic shop who might be more familiar seeing these jacks in for repairs....
I found some good tips on upgrading these aluminum jacks for safety:
grassrootsmotorsports (dot) com/forum/grm/best-aluminum-jack/48687/page1/
step 1) Buy new HF jack.
Step 2 ) drain oil
Step 3) Take apart and inspect both pump and main bore. Fine hone as needed.
Step 4 ) clean, Clean Clean!
Step 5 ) replace seals and o-rings with quality Viton units from McMaster or other good suppler.
Step 6 ) Fill with oil and enjoy. I've got 15+ years out of a "Big Red" jack i bought new at 75% off due to it leaking in the box. Love this jack it had a pedal on the side for raising it to the frame = less pumping
1. You need a Tan.
2. Just rip the fucking thing out of the box.
3. Get a life.
Nice Jack there Rich. The only thing I don't like is HF only give 90 day warranty so time will tell. good luck and thanks for the video
ОтветитьA little to excited over a jack!
ОтветитьThank you for doing this. Nice job. I'm going to buy one of these after watching this. Harbor Freight should have your video on their web site.
ОтветитьHey, I'm in the market for a new jack and was thinking of going with the 3 ton aluminium jack from harbor freight. Do you still like this jack and would you still recommend it? Thanks!
ОтветитьHi Rich, great floor jack! Can you please tell me the width dimension from side plate to side plate?
Harbor Freight's overview on the width is 14 inches, but I'm guessing that's from width of handle bar to handle bar?
great video....i just bought 1.5 Ton Aluminum Racing Floor yesterday with $59.99 coupon and the jack is awesome!
ОтветитьThanks for the review.
I've been looking for a deal on one of these. FYI $159 is the normal price for the 2 ton jack. They have sales or coupons for the 1.5 ton for well under $100 all the time but I don't think the 1.5 ton has enough lifting height to jack up the side of my wife's minivan so I can do easy tire rotations.
Too bad the 20% off coupons specifically exclude jacks (among other things)

Boston?
ОтветитьI just bought this for my bf I hope he loves it!
ОтветитьI have purchased the 1.5 Ton Pittsburgh for my riding mower, and it had worked well for about 6 months. Now I find that it pumps up, but once it hits under my mower it ceases to elevate the machine. I lost the direction on how to bleed the air, if that is the problem. Any suggestions.
Paul
Good video. When you could first hear the excitement in his voice I thought it was Peter Griffin
ОтветитьQuick question, what is the max height on this jack from ground to the lifting plate on the jack
ОтветитьHi i wonder if you still have you jack? can you please let me know if still working or not
after almost two years Thank you.
Didn't the manual said to loosen up the oil fill screw and bleed it and check for oil level and add if hydraulic oil is low before using it for the first time? It's part of the setting up procedure isn't it? Thanks.
ОтветитьPIECE OF JUNK, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Used it on my Z car, one end of the car is about 1000 lbs. Used it a couple dozen times and then after sitting for a couple months it just stopped working. It raises up without a load but won't lift any weight. Never abused, always stored inside in climate controlled garage. Of course it's out of the extremely short 90 day warranty. Any good jack is warrantied about 3 years. Yeah it's cheap, but $150 is a lot when you end up with an aluminum boat anchor and you don't even have a boat.
ОтветитьAwesome jack, got one just like that. Actually two, lol.
ОтветитьHow do you refill the fluid if it is finished
ОтветитьIf it's good enough for Rich, it's good enough for me, so I bought one!
ОтветитьDolan how many jacks did u buy smh. U keep saying the same bullshit.
ОтветитьGod I wanna hang myself after that tutorial.
ОтветитьProblem I have with the higher lift rate racing jacks is that they need a lot more muscle than the traditional jacks. The speed comes with the disadvantage of less leverage. Traditional jacks are easier to use.
ОтветитьJust bought one from HF. Looks like yours has 2 handles, mine only came with 1. Guess I need to drive back and exchange it.... :/
ОтветитьToday Harbor Freight this jack Everything about putting it together is in the instructions. It looks good, it jacks up good, of course. Thumbs up, ok? Reviews after using for sometime is what is important? Thanks O'Malley 10m bullshit it is. My left hand kiddies. lol
ОтветитьHarbor Freight has on sale $59. Hum?????
Ответитьhaha, nice opening
ОтветитьAre all the complainer on Amazon about this jack not bleeding it if it won't jack? I'm not to knowledgful about hydraulics, so by listening to you, I read that they didn't read the instructions! So what you are saying stray air inside, compresses and so the jack will not work!
ОтветитьAlmost 4 minutes to get the jack out of the box, 6 minutes to put half the handle in. Good grief.
Ответитьvery awkward man. this is the kind of man who shags his wife.. cums in his condim and runs off to mummy.. muummmmy loook
