ОтветитьBroooo facts 🕺
ОтветитьCatholicism is also the mission field YES but this has been bothering me because men like Mel Gibson made the passion of Christ and also the Actor in the Chosen who is also Catholic but the production and director are Evangelical Protestants. Gibson put all of his money up in Hollywood when they wanted to turn their backs on him. He is Orthodox Catholic (Did people get saved YESSS) pray for Mel. There is a war within Catholicism I think. Vatican 1 vs Vatican 2 then we have the Reformation. The council of Trent condemns us for believing in Christ by faith Solar Scriptura. I'm a Protestant I believe in Sola scriptura but God would he use a donkey if he has to. So are Catholics saved YES maybe with bad Theology! But Jehovah God looks at the heart. The modern Protestant church is a Joke also with the prosperity Gospel nonsense. Sola fide, sola scriptura, solus Christus, sola gratia: through Faith alone, by Scripture alone, in Christ alone, by Grace alone! These four maxims, which had already been developed by 1521, astutely summarise the theology of Martin Luther. We have more things to worry about like Gen Z not coming to Jesus Christ for salvation while we argue.
ОтветитьAlso thanks for this Brother I really appreciate this time you spent explaining because I know Catholics who have bad Theology. Jesus Christ is Lord God bless you
ОтветитьI guess some of them are the people who will say "lord, didn't we do this and this in your name?" because they have faith in their works more than in Jesus
ОтветитьAmen! May everyone hear the good news!
ОтветитьCatholics will be saved, Orthodox Christians will be saved and Protestants will be saved. Also Sola Scriptura is a false MAN MADE TRADITION.
1. Scripture Itself Does Not Teach Sola Scriptura
Ironically, the principle of Sola Scriptura is not found in the Bible. The Bible does not claim to be the sole authority for faith and morals. Instead, Scripture points to other sources of authority:
• 2 Thessalonians 2:15:
“So then, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by our letter.”
• This verse highlights the importance of oral tradition alongside written Scripture.
• 1 Timothy 3:15:
“…the Church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.”
• This passage indicates that the Church, not Scripture alone, is the pillar of truth.
2. The Bible Was Compiled by the Church
The canon of Scripture was not fully recognized until several centuries after Christ. Catholic councils, such as the Council of Rome (AD 382) and later the Council of Trent (1546), formally determined which books belonged in the Bible. Without the authority of the Church, there would be no agreement on the contents of the Bible. This demonstrates that Scripture cannot exist in isolation from the Church’s authority.
3. Sacred Tradition Precedes Scripture
The New Testament did not exist in its final written form during the early years of the Church. For decades after Christ’s resurrection, the Apostles taught orally through Sacred Tradition. For example:
• The Church existed and evangelized before the New Testament was written.
• Key doctrines, such as the Trinity, are not explicitly outlined in Scripture but were clarified through Church Tradition.
This demonstrates that Scripture grew out of Tradition, not the other way around.
4. The Necessity of the Magisterium (Teaching Authority of the Church)
Without an authoritative interpreter, Sola Scriptura leads to doctrinal chaos. The Protestant Reformation, which promoted Sola Scriptura, resulted in thousands of denominations with conflicting interpretations of Scripture. Catholicism maintains that the Magisterium, guided by the Holy Spirit, provides the definitive interpretation of Scripture and Tradition.
• Acts 15:28 (Council of Jerusalem): The Apostles settled a doctrinal dispute through the authority of the Church, not individual interpretations of Scripture.
5. Sola Scriptura is a Historical Innovation
The principle of Sola Scriptura was not taught by the early Church Fathers and only arose with the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century. Early Church leaders such as St. Irenaeus and St. Augustine emphasized the authority of both Scripture and Tradition in preserving the faith.
• St. Irenaeus (Against Heresies, Book III, Chapter 2):
“It is not through Scriptures alone that the Church has been handed down the truth.”
6. Scripture Itself Points to Tradition and Church Authority
Numerous passages show that God’s revelation is not confined to Scripture:
• John 21:25:
“Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”
• This indicates that not everything Jesus taught or did is contained in Scripture.
• 2 Peter 1:20-21:
“No prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation.”
• This suggests the need for an authoritative interpreter (the church)
You should debate same shamoun
ОтветитьAmen! Seen a particular Catholic creator here say some stuff he doesn’t know enough about. One example he brought up against Sola Scriptura was that Jesus said “He who hears you hears me” and he clarified that “Jesus didn’t say ‘he who reads your words reads my words’” but in the Greek it can literally be defined as both
ОтветитьI Can't tell if i remember that or if I never knew this was a thing in the catholic church.
But the Veneration of the pope, Worship of Mary and the worship of saints is what removed me from catholic faith. And i don't think all Catholics do this stuff but the doctrine has so many falsehoods and misleading practices i have no reason to stay catholic. Someone in this comment section said this and i agree i believe there is a war in the catholic church to steer people away from Christ and if it was not started like this it has been since corrupted in its doctrine of the nature of the Gospel.
But i think the conflict of the Catholic Doctrine and the Faith of Christ is also far more complex that what we can see. In the sense i feel some other stuff are at play and i have ideas and theories etc. But that matters little to me. I believe in faith through Christ will free me. "In Jesus Name" Amen
God Bless everyone
You still have to be baptized to be saved
ОтветитьSubbed. Your insight is sound and backed by the scriptures, unlike the CCC.
Ответитьyup, we are
ОтветитьGreat video!
Ответитьnever met a catholic that believes that works = heaven
ОтветитьIm a Catholic, ( A Roman Catholic ) and honestly, yes i go to the church and participate in it but The Bible i read is The Holy Bible, not the Good News Bible, therefore i follow it, but i have not finished The Holy Bible nor do i ( cause I’m not really sure how to ) study the pages in a way where i remember the verses, im 14, still gonna go through changes in my life, and may the Lord take me where he wants me to go and may i do what he wants me to do
ОтветитьPray to Jesus. Not Mary, or saints, and a priest can not forgive your sins. Through faith and Grace only. Not through works
Amen Lord Jesus ❤
Thank you!
ОтветитьIt’s hard to understand how a spirit filled Christian could (continue) to be identified as a Catholic..going to masses, confessing and “receiving forgiveness” from priests, participating in their communions, where they believe they are literally eating The Body of Christ and drinking His Blood. This is a CULT.
