I just watched this recently and I realized Elise in this game shared the same name and fire elements with a player’s character in my dnd party. She likes Sonic and has brought it up in game. I asked her if her character was based off of this Princess Elise and she got super excited and said yes. Her character is an airheaded noble dragon blooded sorcerer who apparently looks identical to Princess Elise in this game. Also like Elise in this game, she has absolutely zero personality. She also said she actually wants to try playing Sonic 06 on the PS3. 😬

Elise's father feels like such a missed opportunity. Putting aside the apocalypse growing in her, he could have been such an influence on her that he teaches her she has to suppress her emotions so she can be a great leader but at the cost of her long term happiness, then sonic enters the scene and due to the circumstances gives Elise the chance to be more emotional than she ever got to, in turn teaching her that her father didn't know everything and was right to tell her to be a strong leader but wrong to have her bottle everything up as a person. (Again, writing out the apocalypse if she cries)

Sonic 06 does look like it starts off like a final fantasy game😂😂😂😂

So what's actually happening with the snowboard sections is you aren't getting stuck, it's that they use tank controls. Yes, tank controls. I can't explain it either.

The reason loading takes so long in this game is a fascinating one: the game literally scans its entire filesystem every single time it needs to load something!

I've enjoyed your content for years, and I finally finished this video recently and felt a need to leave a comment. You guys should be commended on how well done this review is, and long this must have taken to produce, edit, and record footage for. I've done some editing in the past, and this had to be time consuming. The editing is top notch - you never see an error, a misstep, and the humor never lets up. I'm sure there were probably a ton of laughs, but your stress levels must have sky rocketed after this experience. This was an amazing video and the best review of this game you'll ever see. I think the next Sonic game they should look at should either be Sonic and the secret rings, Sonic Free riders, Sonic Lost World, Shadow The Hedgehog, or Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric

the way you describe sonic 06 brain is hilarious because it's like exactly the way socpens aka scorpy described it. you have to play sonic 06 scared and that's just a fact

Unrelated note are people still copyrighting the music for this game the main theme with His world I understand but why the in game soundtrack, No one cares about the music Like that

I'm morbidly curious now if you guys did the ball puzzle with SIlver legit or clipped through the door in frustration.

I know I simply clipped through the door instead of dealing with it since I knew it was just that bad going in.

I love the fandub of 06 just exemplifies the plot of this game, undeterminable.

I'm not a Sonic player but, has anyone ever explained why a bunch of hydrocephalic, anthropomorphic hedgehogs need shoes and gloves, but no pants?

Also the beginning of the speed section in Crisis City does not start with a cutscene meaning if you're holding the thumbstick in any direction it will throw you off the road before the camera comes in

Thanks for making this video! The side mission with counting boxes brings up repressed memories. Sonic 2006 is definitely in my top 5 worst games of all time. I’m glad in a way they didn’t call this Sonic adventure 3.

Xbox 360 was a better version.. and that's really saying something...
