We have sailed with Uniworld twice and think they are one of the best river cruise lines. The food is excellent, the staff is so attentive and all the inclusions are much appreciated. The decor..., it's a bit over the top but I can live with that. Next time, give Scenic a try.

I always enjoy your videos, I find it funny that you mentioned the humidity being 100%, I live in Michigan, in the US and we have that percentage a lot in the summer with the heat also at 100° its quite exhausting to have humidity that high, in summer here we stay usually above 90% most of the time......

That sounds like my local weather in the summer. 90-100 degrees F and 90-100% humidity most of the time.

I passed out at the palace when I was 14. Was escorted out in a wheelchair down the elevator. The heat in there is no joke.

When i was young i loved winters ,now i hate winters and are much happier in 40C then in 0 or 10C.
Back 2 days ago from 14 days Canary Island Cruise where temps were 20-30C and in my town where now is 5-8 Celsius and i am allready depressed that i need to be in cold weather for next 3 months .Luckily i have next cryise 12 days in March from Athens to Cyprus where will be much wormer .
I am person who like to travel (been this year almost 2 months on cruises and 1 month regular vacation ) but i never ever visited Germany or Sweden or Norway,when people ask me why because is so nice,i dont like to go north where is colder ,so only option is go there is summer but then i prefer to be somewhere on the sea

I don't think any drivers follow the rules of the road, if they know them or not 😂

Given the heat and humidity, it's not surprising there was a spectacular sale on the price of the cruise. I suspect they are more at capacity when the weather is more bearable.

This was very interesting, I would have loved the Venice part. I am dong a Danube cruise in 2025 in early spring so hope to avoid humid and hot weather. I found the wall paper very claustrophobic and it would give me nightmares.

While otherwise fun decor… the cabin’s wallpaper…noooooo……

Just googled the average temperature in Venice for July... 83 degrees F. Not that that doesn't feel hot, especially when there's no escape from the sun besides stuffy 600 year old buildings, but being from the Midwest I think I'd be chilling in those conditions. Corn sweat ftw

Did a Uniworld last year Paris to Normandy and would travel with them anytime. The shore excursions were well led by knowledgeable guides, food was great, cabin was certainly more than I expected, and they cut my solo traveller excess.

I went to Venice on a package tour a few months ago, and it was great! However, I learned something very important in the lagoon: I get very seasick on large bodies of water! So while this looks fantastic, and part of me would like to go back, I’m not doing it. I’ll stick to land tours instead. (My next ideas are Turkey or Vietnam.)

the air reaches 100% humidity in most places at least once a day - that's what causes dew, the air cannot hold the volume of water as the temp drops so dew happens - dew point btw, the interior of the cabin was nauseating

Don’t come to the Southern US during June - August! It regularly gets 100% humidity with the actual temperature between 96-100+!!

Hi Emma we were on this cruise on SS La Venezia in May 2024 and on your deck. Much better weather than you experienced.
