Also regarding the playback of external video files. Thanks for checking out H.265 and 2160p videos. Can we install some other player like VLC and play those video via that? Can x5 play these?

My main use is to play H.265 videos via external hard drive. So this will be really helpful.

Hi!

Even with all the permissions granted to the apps (*) and USB debugging turned ON,
it is impossible to read the contents of my 16GB usb key (ex-fat format) USB memory from the Google TV home page:

UNUSEFUL apps
>es-file Explorer
>File manager +
>X-plore file manager
>VLC
>KODI

I know the stock reader will read the USB external memory, but it can't read some audio formats.

Any suggestions?

Is there a way that a Google Chromecast works with Davinci 1 Pro? I recently bought their Wanbo T6 Max but it was devistating and a lot of applications (netflix, and disney+, even HBO) don't work.

The customer service said Android 9 OS wouldn't work with Google Chromecast so they suggested this product which had Android 11 OS and is like $40 more in price.
