Im having anxiety over possibly being homesick and its worse because of how codependent and shit my parents are towards me like im the only thing holding this home together rn😭
ОтветитьMy name is Charlotte and knowing your cats name is Charlotte made me feel like I was definitely meant to watch your video!
ОтветитьHey! I watched this video a while back and I’m finally moving out in about a week! I’ve been planning this for a while, and this video helped me so much!
ОтветитьI’m so excited I am moving out into my own apartment this year so soon and I can’t wait. 🎉❤
ОтветитьIs $53k+ enough to move out with?
ОтветитьThis was really helpful im moving out in a week to a new town and still trying to get it all figured out. This video helps me calm down and just take it one thing at a time. Thank u soo much 😊
ОтветитьHow on earth could my rent only be 30% of my monthly income? I am a student who works 20%. I can’t work more. And I want to move into the city to not have a 1.3h drive every morning and night.
The average rent for a room (flat share) is around 900-1000.
If I move out That’ll be around 60% of my monthly income…
Guess I’m never moving out 🥲
I wanna be independent nowadays. I want more after watching the video. I agree with that a cat brings us how much loves it brings us because I have taken care of one dog. I have not felt missing out because of my puppy.
ОтветитьIm currently 15 going to 16 in august and idk why im stressing about adulthood and moving out rn but I am. This video gave me a pretty good preview on what I should be expecting and I am eternally grateful to you for that. Thank you 💗
ОтветитьGirl I never comment but this is video was honestly so helpful I just had to say thanks! <3
ОтветитьRent should be no less than your monthly income
ОтветитьIs the friend in question by any chance Nicole Rafiee, because that sounds like her lolol
ОтветитьI'm trying to save to move out of my parents' house and it makes me feel so anxious...
Nobody teaches you this in school, college, ect...
I'm asking my friends for advice, but this type of videos is what I needed
I can’t stress enough how important it is to save up a years rent + a little more for deposits/admin fees
ОтветитьI'm planning to move out next year
ОтветитьThank you Hannah, I liked how you gave reasons why a cat added value to your life and added how anxiety can affect moving out especially when assessing how ready you are in moving out.
Ответитьmonthly rent!? in my country its weekly!! and around my area its up to like $850 per week 😭
ОтветитьI’m moving out soon I’m excited
ОтветитьThis is a great video! I do just want to say that there are times in life when you have the oppurtunity to consider doing something, but that doesn't always mean you are ready. It has been really important for me to learn how to consider/ process my feelings seperatly from the physical state of a situation. Different things work for different people so I just wanted to add another perspective to the "how do you know you are ready" section of the video in case it is helpful for someone:)
ОтветитьHi there! I hope someone can answer this question. I am hoping to move out at some point in the next few months. I have taken the “30% of your monthly income on rent” advice into consideration, and have calculated an amount and decided that is the max amount I will pay per month for rent. However, I have been a little confused if this “30% rule” is supposed to include monthly utility bills??? How much should I (one person) budget for utilities each month, and should that amount depend on my monthly income? If anyone would like to share a recommendation, source, or personal experience, I would so very much appreciate it. I think having a max budget for utilities will make me much more comfortable and confident in my apartment search. Thank so much you in advance, and I hope to hear from someone soon! :)
ОтветитьCharlie being on the back, chilling, makes my anxiety go down😊
ОтветитьCompletely agree with the thrifting/Facebook marketplace when my family first moved to the states we didn’t have much money our house is practically 100% items my mom thrifted or got at Facebook marketplace and it looks great 💁🏽♀️✨
Ответитьdon’t know if wholesome is the best word to describe this video but… Thank you so much Hannah. I needed to watch this video. Minutes before I felt as if I was going to vomit because of the anxiety of moving out but you’ve left me calm. Definitely going to see the checklist link. Thank you again <3
ОтветитьThis lady is so delusional and condescendin.
ОтветитьBro I have the same espresso machine. Literally so freakin amazing
ОтветитьI'm about to graduate college and, although I've technically been living away from home for the past 5-ish years, college apartment living (with roommates who are also students) is totally different from living on your own as an independent adult. I'm SO nervous, but videos like these really help as I'm figuring out where I want to be and what I want to do. I'm probably taking a gap year before grad school, so I just really appreciate your content, Hannah!! ilysm
