Awesome video! It sounded like you were saying "vertex" at first, which would be a point in 3D space. In this case, you could also say "pivot" instead of center of a circle.
ОтветитьLooks like you have a 4 iron going on. It's definitely not a wedge.
ОтветитьGreat shot when playing lefties since it’s moving to their BHs.
Ответитьcan you do a tutorial forehand finish over head that Federer uses to hit cross court when cornered
ОтветитьYou have another channel that already has lots of subs right? I’m curious why this new one
ОтветитьGreat tips! Could you also do a video on how pros kill slow balls? Playing against people who slow down the pace a lot is tough at the club level.
Also, what club are you filming at that has one court like that? Or is that your backyard?!
It's amazing to see how much pace these slices actually produce compared to the range of motion of the stroke.
Great stuff as usual coach and keep up the great work.

One of the easiest hit. I like to take a backhand grip and make it a sidespin stop sometimes,
that is maybe too long a bit, but because it jumps to the side, almost impossible to get. You gotta get under it a bit, and hit it low above the ground. You need the falling speed.
Hit it more with the top of the racquet. And the more spin you give it, the shorter it lands. A thin racquet helps for this. You can even make it be a lob,
if you put the racquet upwards at the same time, not by changing the swing, but by leaning upwards a bit while doing it, and hitting more in the middle of the racquet.
Very helpful view of a slice backhand. Good to know the mechanics.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I am a fed fan, but alas I cannot copy his bh slice as its hard to time the swing unless the ball is slow. On lower balls, I do sometimes do this bc they are not as fast. Still, your video inspires me to go and try it again
