Yay! Thank you for this! Yes please do video for canning vegetables. I would like to learn and not be afraid of my pressure cooker.
ОтветитьI would love for you to make some canning videos! I don't have a pressure cooker just the Ball pot that has a basket and lid.
ОтветитьI don't can because I'm scared of botulism. I want to learn the right way so badly because we have something in the garden year round and I freeze it instead of canning. I have everything I need to water bath can except the courage to do it. Look forward to all your videos. They are always so helpful. Take care!!!
ОтветитьLove this video!
ОтветитьThanks for the tour. I would LOVE to see videos on how you can!!! I have done it before, but it's just time consuming and messy. 😞
ОтветитьI've never canned. Why? I don't trust my own foods for some reason. I tried kombucha and it turned out okay, I guess, but I never actually drank it. I would very much like to try making sauerkraut because of my German background as well as I hear it is amazing for beneficial bacteria.
Edit: Also interested in the freeze dried foods. Never heard of those before for people (just pet treats).
Many years ago, made pickled okra. It was a very simple and easy recipe and I have lost it over the years of moving ( hubby was in the Marines). Just pack the smallish pods in a pint jar and pour the vinegar mixture over them, slap and flat and ring on them and, done. Did not call for a water bath. I have searched online for a similar recipe and asked round and everyone says you have to do the water bath. I didn't and we didn't suffer. Please tell me im not crazy.
ОтветитьYes, I would like to see videos on canning regular things.
I don’t can, i blanche and freeze a lot of stuff.
I am not confident enough to can something and eat it after in case I have done something wrong and someone gets sick.
I would enjoy learning more about freeze drying foods as well.
I use those can lids all the time! Favorite item!
ОтветитьI'm just curious what you ate before changing your diet. Did you eat out much? Processed foods? Like a SAD diet?
ОтветитьI would love to see a whole series on canning🌸
ОтветитьYes, please do a canning series. I have been afraid of a pressure cooker since my grandmother was badly burned when she used hers.
ОтветитьJovial is a good gf pasta
ОтветитьYou can also get dried garbanzo beans and soak and cook in slow cooker
ОтветитьWould love canning videos.😃
ОтветитьI would love for you to do a series on canning this spring and summer. This past summer I embraced canning tomatoes and green beans in abundance. I did however freeze zucchini, okra, and summer squash. I’m always looking for techniques that different individuals use to improve the efficiency of my own.
I would also love to see recipes that you create with your freeze dried products.
Please send me info on your freeze dried items.
ОтветитьThank you for your videos. I would love for you to do a video on the freeze dried foods and how you use them in a healthy way.
ОтветитьI would love to see a seasonal canning lessons! I am also interested in the trees drive products! Did You ever use freeze drive fruit? Have You tried making homemade fruit roll ups with a dehydrator? I can't see the links that You always talk about on the video. HELP!!!
ОтветитьHow do you pickle okra? I never liked it, boiled, because it was slimy. I finally ate some sliced raw in a salad and love it that way. Now I’m wanting to learn how to make things with okra that aren’t very slimy.
ОтветитьI bought some of the plastic lids..then discovered that mayo lids fit the mason jars...started saving them and have a ton of them..free vs the money I spent on the 8 lids I purchased. Also the lids from the plastic Parmesan cheese jars fit the mason jars too and they flip up for spooning or pouring.
ОтветитьI would love a series on canning. I used my steam canner last summer, but never worked up the courage to use the pressure camner I had purchased! Obviously, I'm a newbie to canning.
ОтветитьI am so happy to have found you! Your such a jewel and inspiration. I'm 63 yrs old and have always loved baking bread, with bread machine, now I'm learning how to make bread by hand. Yesterday I made your beginner bread recipe, which came out beautiful! Today I'm making your cinnamon swirl bread. Your instructions are so simple, not complicated. I do have alot of joint pain, so I'm watching your videos on inflammation. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. God Bless!
