I watched this back in 2009, or so. I was much younger then. That's probably why I didn't appreciate the film then. I will have to rewatch this again and see if it has grown on me. I just remember it being boring and confusing.

I Remember seeing this film on a Saturday afternoon at a theater in Carmel California,I came out of movie and my 1976 BMW had a parking ticket on its window,in the bright sun 🌞

I have never seen the Kafkaesque atmosphere portrayed in such a good

Man, this trailer sure wants you to believe that there's a head in that box, huh... Of course that's the most obvious explanation but seeing the way it was edited made me laugh.
The first half of the trailer also makes it seem like some kind of light comedy. I sort of wish the entire trailer was edited that way, so that anyone who sees the trailer and wants to see the film would end up very, very surprised.

Brilliant masterpiece by the Coen bros

It's a Very Entertaining Movie, but it doesn't hold up by the end
It's definitely not even close to "Masterpiece" as some claim, but again, my opinion

these coen bros must have been heavily into adrenachrome same with the guy that done the movie "the Naked Lunch"

Just imagine if the Coen brothers switch into horror genre!

I'm glad they never show what's in the box or if his family in NY was ok. The box reminds me of Pulp Fiction and how they never show what's in the briefcase.
