Music Jam @ The American Heritage Music Hall

The Tuesday night music jams at the American Heritage Music Hall in Ronceverte WV are a lot of fun. Doors open at 6:00 pm, and music is from 7:00 pm to about 10:30 with a break for dinner at 8:00. Dinner is potluck, so everyone brings something to share. Admission is $7/person unless you are planning to play; musicians get in for free.

The vibes are really good there. Folks are friendly and welcoming; food is yummy and the music is true Americana. When I first walked in, I felt like I had taken a step back in time to when life was simpler. The hall, which used to be a skating rink, is decorated with plants and strings of lights. There are old vinyl records hanging from the ceiling, and there’s even a dancing skeleton that stands front and center on the stage. He dances to every song!

So, if you’re in the mood for a fun laid-back evening, or feel like jammin’ with other musicians or steppin’ out on the dance floor, come on out to the Music Hall some Tuesday.
