Sacrifice
God tested Abraham after giving him the land, son, and future he yearned for by asking him to sacrifice the very thing he wanted most - his own son, Isaac. We Americans are readying to celebrate "Independence Day", yet we are completely dependent on God as individuals and as a nation. What are we willing to sacrifice for the sake of the future God desires for us? How faithful are we willing to be?
