Great video/tutorial! Can I use Clear Adhesive Vinyl Laminate to stick the item instead of plastic? I’ve seen ppl use double-sided tape or a hot glue gun to adhere items so there’s no seepage underneath the item. Thanks!
ОтветитьHow long the liquid mold dry?
ОтветитьWhat mixtures you needed to make mold making?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI’ve used many silicones. Pinky sip is the worst!
ОтветитьHey, I have a question. I just made my first molds of food, and some of the food is stuck in the silicone. For example, I made molds of Oreos and some of the cream stuck to the silicone. Is there a good way to get that out?
ОтветитьDo you know where I can buy the silicone to be shipped to the USA?
Ответитьthis is exactly what i needed!! thank you!!
ОтветитьThank you! I'm looking at making a mold so I can encapsulate in resin some cardboard pieces for a boardgame and this was really helpful!
ОтветитьAnd, after that, you can use them for polymer clay & resin? Can it bake with polymer clay? Or, do the pieces have to come out before?
ОтветитьVery helpful thank you for the video
ОтветитьBrilliant idea !
ОтветитьSorry, but what do you with those after that? I can't understand the whole point of those molds.
ОтветитьVery helpful thankyou
Ответитьwht about you Used? it ok ?

Can you couch buttons with a shank on a bed of corn starch to keep them from going sideways then pour the silicon over them?
ОтветитьCan I use a bucket for large molds?
ОтветитьI followed your guide, and have demolded my pieces after waiting 24 hours. The outside is fine, but the inside is still a little tacky. Is that a problem, or will that also dry fine?
ОтветитьI want to make molds of plastic items is that possible or would the whatsit stick to the plastic
ОтветитьCan you make a mold out of a mold??
ОтветитьFor light objects (3D prints, polymer clay, plastic, etc), make sure you glue it well to the bottom. They will drift upwards otherwise!
ОтветитьMy item is curved downwards. When I pour silicone over it and completely cover it, once the silicone hardens, there’s no way to get my item free from the silicone. Can someone please tell me what to do????
ОтветитьAnother cheap way to remove or encourage bubble to dissipate , is sprays is lightly on top with alcohol and a heating matt
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your simple way to make a mold; I'll certainly try it! What would you use to fill surface imperfections on an item before making a mold of it? Oh, and it's nice to hear another Aussie making a tutorial!
ОтветитьIs there any quality difference that we need to differentiate while buying silicone liquid? Also what are the mistakes that we should avoid while making it so that doesn't become so sticky?
ОтветитьAre these moulds suitable for resin
ОтветитьShort sweet and very informative. Thank you.
And again I really appreciate you not trying to make me watch 20+ minutes
Do the molds give off the glossy finish of the crystals and the matte of the tray/bowl?
ОтветитьWhere do you find the liquid silicone that you mix up?
Ответитьplease I didn't understand the chemicals u have mixed
Ответитьthank you much
ОтветитьThank you for the tutorial, I bought some skull shot glasses as my daughter wanted 12 of them all different colored. This is exactly the tutorial I needed as I had no idea what to make the mold in. Cardboard covered in packing tape will be perfect. Thank you again 🌹
ОтветитьWhich chemical used to make Diy by you , in how much ratio give name
ОтветитьCan u please share what is mixed along with silicon in 1 to 1 ratio ?
ОтветитьWhat are the liquids used ???
ОтветитьI just ordered my first (hopefully not the last) mold making kit. This gives me some very good ideals to start with. THANKS
Ответитьanyone can make a mold using alginate powder. Which IS what Pinksly IS. It is extremely expensive. At least it was back when i was taking sculpture classes. I was looking for a self made mold video that does NOT use alginate. Using Silicon caulking works well and its way less expensive.
ОтветитьYe kaha milega
ОтветитьNot need ? Mold release ?
ОтветитьI think you did an amazing job 😊
Ответить@SeriouslyCreative
Can you show us how to make our own molds for safety eyes and the washer piece please
Great video! Thanks for posting your technique and information on the mold making liquid.
ОтветитьThis is cool is it toxic to use? Who's going to copy me today?
ОтветитьHi, can I use UV resin in these molds or is it too thick because my molds are exaclty the same as yours.
Cheers
