Ganzo Firebird FB7631 Review

Wow really nice knife!!!

I have one. I like the blade shape and action. I did have to open/close 200-300 times until the action smoothed out. Good figit friendly budget knife.

Steel ball bearings thank god; tired of ceramic.

Got one of these six months back in OG, with satin finish fittings rather than the blue anodised.
Great little knife for playing with, but I see your point about an uneven grind on the bevel, but what the hey, it's still Sharp enough to take the hairs off your arm!
Worth every penny of it's cost, and would be at twice the price, imo.

This one looks like a perfect one to match The Rats 1 or 2 to experience the size. I am still enamored with the FH51 from earlier this summer. It is the perfect size for a modern folder (restricted size nanny state) and when I'm not carrying a traditional knife I like to carry and use the 51. Thanks for all your reviews Jake.

Aesthetically speaking, I dislike what you seem to love. Those holes not lining up get to me. It seems like a dirt collector to me.

Good review and I hope you have a good weekend with your grandkids I have one question I hope somebody out there can answer it for me I've collected a few Ganzo knives when they first came on the market and I just hated that access lock so I quit collecting any of them are the axis locks today on the Gonzo knives easier to operate

The measurement tape is a genius idea to be able to see when you're talking about the size and weight. I used to search for that part when re-vewing a video

As Joe Biden says ... C'mon man :) ... Is that what you call a spine whack test? Just lightly tapping on the back? Only solid with hand fitting ... Ganzo is years overdue to modify locking pin ...

Great review Jake. I love the FB7631. I've got the black and carbon fiber. I just wish they had put some jimping towards the rear of the handle so that it can grip the palm better when you're using the G-Lock. I find it a bit slippery sometimes.
