Very good! A pity to have a very high price in Brazil, I'll go with Sdm3055 that fits my budget😪
ОтветитьSweet
ОтветитьThe big readout is very nice of course. However the very small menu at the bottom and the size of the 'dual' display are usability issues. That should be easily fixable with a software update, but will it happen?
The specs are interesting, somewhat mid-range compared to other 6.5 meters. Probably more than enough for the vast majority of use cases. While Siglent's reputation is growing, it is currently not yet as recognised as Keysight or Keithley. Very long term stability has not yet been established. Keeping all this in mind, the price is difficult to justify.
Would you test how 'fast' it is in real world application? For example, is it capable to accurately measure current consumption of an IoT device when it wakes up from sleep.
Przypomina mi Keithley Pozdrawiam
ОтветитьNot sure about the colour scheme for the front panel and lcd colours (digits). Can the text colour be changed via the settings?
ОтветитьThat display looks excellent and i bet it is great on the eyes. I think the grey colour scheme is modern too. Thanks Tony
ОтветитьLooks like they are moving away from the old Rigol style and trying to aim more at the heavy professional user. Dual measurement function was interesting, looks like the current was available at the same time as the voltage. Thanks for the overview of the meter, see how long it take to become available in the UK.
ОтветитьYou and Kerry Wong are responsible for emptying my bank account ❤
ОтветитьWhen will the teardown come
ОтветитьBoot time Tony ? Played with one for a short while last August when visiting HQ....IIRC boot time was much the same as SDM3000 models.....didn't take too much notice.
ОтветитьNot at least a cursory look at the insides?
ОтветитьVery nice, but a pity they didn't put rear terminals back on it. So useful on the older 34401A :)
ОтветитьEeewwww, they made it look like a Keithly/Keysight!
ОтветитьThey have it shown on the Chinese site, but not SiglentNA yet. I'm wondering when release is. The price to feature ratio looks very good. As with any new product the one thing we can't really know is long-term stability, but that unknown is a normal issue.
ОтветитьGood review and nice meter.
ОтветитьHello!
SDM4000 also have a Digitzer mode..
Check in Acquire menu..
I hope Siglent will allow you to make teardown. Very interestig, what ADC and what reference they used here
ОтветитьAnd now I have a dilemma whether to buy 3065 or something. Or I'll stick with the Schlumberger 7062, it takes 4 hours to heat up, but it's 4 times bigger than the Sigs. How about the measurement functions of temperature sensors (Pt100, thermocouples, NTC)? I wonder what the price will be in Poland?
ОтветитьHello, pour le référencement 👍
ОтветитьFantastic meter very good👍🏻💯
ОтветитьThank you Siglent, but no. Just give me physical buttons for switching modes.
ОтветитьThe hantek hdm3065 "keysight clone" is excellent and should be considered a competitor @ 600€. I've had mine for 6 months. Very accurate and stable. SDG electronics rates highly.
ОтветитьI own the 3065 and yes, I also experience the temperature warm-up issue. However, it meets my needs and not yet time (or funds) to upgrade...but tempting!
ОтветитьDe continuity test threshold setting heb je weleens vaker gezien hoor, denk aan een €150 Owon 😀
Ответить👍
ОтветитьExcellent review Tony - thanks!!
ОтветитьYou can really see that display. Thanks Tony
ОтветитьWhat brand voltage reference were you using in the video? Thanks!
ОтветитьHey Tony!
ОтветитьI wonder if I can get the non-SC version and add the card later.
ОтветитьVery nice meter. I like the look of it, not sure why there's people complaining about it! I am glad to see the lower cost brands competing with the very expensive Flukes, Keithleys etc.
Ответитьnice meter
ОтветитьIndustrial use only.
ОтветитьHow`s small and large AC current? While we are measuring small AC currents, how is NOT injecting seven shades of mains coupled noise into the measuring circuit (currently getting a headache trying to cal some 10uA AC analog meters, the 34401 just gives up on such :) ...)? Do we get enough precision at 5 amps AC to calibrate class 0.1/0.2 current transformers? Choice of RMS, peak, average?
ОтветитьBesteld via link !
ОтветитьPatiently waiting for Siglent North America to announce this model.
ОтветитьI wonder what kind of things are under the hood
ОтветитьGear Acquisition Syndrome hits and it's all your fault 🙂 Great review, Tony. You always have all the nice stuff.
