Dont like it that the Nkuhuma male is out by himself for so long. He needs this boy. I know a lot of what they do is instinct, but they have to be taught as well. The Mhangheni male missed out on that, I feel that is what Nana was doing with these boys. Teaching them to stay together and fight for each other. She didnt get a lot of time to do that. He needs to go and find his mate. Support him always. Praying for that Nkuhuma male and his family to go find him.

Awww, THANK YOU for posting this! I just Love these Lions! big boy Mhangeni and Nana's Nkuhuma girl. They are a beautiful duo, with a sweet bond. These are interesting times, i wish they would defy all textbook scenarios and co~exist peacefully with the Avocas and the new Nkuhuma cubs. Following this situation as closely as i can, being that i am not there in Afrika.

Scraps between dominant males and the sub adult sons of the pride they are with, is normal. They're not always serious and often end with the comabatants forming an extended coalition. This is happening with the last Avoca/Giraffe male in Manyeleti and his step sons the Mbiri young males who were fathered by the Thanda Impis

Too bad big bad grown lions like to throw their weight around on these younger males. Bullies... But here you have a young male that has seen pain, abandonment, no support, mainge and above all else his cherry on the top A grown male fought a young male. The grown guy won... What a BADASS!!! BadAss has been threw so much, he's the man. Funny, Not sure but I think his list of do's is short compared to this quiet young male. Everyone makes their own Monster. I think this older male is gonna be afraid of his monster. Thing about fights, he's aging and young guy is growing. Easiest and fastest way to find a weak spot, is to hands on. I think I am gonna watch this young guy a while. I think he will shake the ground when he roars.

I through the Mhangeni male had black at the bottom of his mane before he came down with mange , wasn’t his father black mane, this one might be the Nkuhmun male because he is blonde where his mane is growing, go back and look at the Mhangeni male before mange, I may be wrong and getting them mixed up, look up young dark mane Mhangeni greeting his father Dark mane
