2025 Kia Carens Clavis review - Carens goes upmarket | First Drive | Autocar India

Same old engines, using Carens diesel since 2.5 years, its good no issues. It is time to bring petrol hybrid. Running diesel in city is an issue with DPF warnings.
All car manufacturers should make 5* GNCAP cars, no exceptions.

These new front designs are useless in Indian conditions . Headlights will get damaged easily just by scrapping sides and front. intentionally ignoring this simple assumption to generate more revenue .

what an ugly set of machines 😵

I have noticed lately, that in reviews uploaded by most well-known auto media houses have loud background music which gets even louder when the b-roll footage plays. Sometimes, even the presenter's speech is overshadowed by the music. This video, along with that of the MG Windsor is what I remember had very subdued and calm ambient music and it made the experience so much better. Please maintain such quality in your videos here onward. Thanks.

I personally dont like kia cars. But I love every features given by the new carens especially the engine power.
Suzuki need to bring something like this on their xl6.also need to change the engine to a much more powerful and efficient engine with adas and features like big display, panromic sunroof, separate ac vent for each person(avoid the blowers placed in the middle)

One major drawback I see in Kia carens is the curtain airbags doesn't extend to 3rd row seat. Its such a blatant cost cutting. Alcazar or any other cars with 3rd row it extends to 3rd row.

Every time i see KIA, I see horrible service from order to delivery phase. Nothing will change that experience.

Kia की Clavis कारेंस ही है इसमें कुछ भी नया नहीं है I किआ के द्वारा Clavis को पिछले एक साल से सड़कों पर ऐसे ढक कर घुमाया जा रहा था जैसे किआ कोई बहुत स्पेशल SUV लांच करने जा रही है I खोदा पहाड़ निकली चुहिया I इसका फ्रंट लुक तो बहुत ही घटिया है और बैक लुक भी थर्ड क्लास है I Clavis फ्रंट ग्रिल के बिना ऐसे लग रही है जैसे किसी आदमी के होंठों को सिल दिया हो जबकि किआ, Clavis में फ्रंट ग्रिल सेल्टोस या सॉनेट कि तरह से कुछ दे सकती थी लेकिन किआ ने फिर वही गलती कि जो Carens के शेप में की है I सबसे पहले इंसान व्हीकल की लुक ही देखता है और इस मामले में Clavis को 100 में से 10 नंबर ही दिए जा सकते है I इन कार कंपनियों को शोरूम पर कस्टमर की राय भी लेनी चाहिए कि इस कार या SUV में उनको क्या क्या exteriuor features अच्छे नहीं लग रहे है I Clavis की सेल Carens से भी कम रहेगी क्युकी लोग ये एक्सपेक्ट कर रहे थे कि Clavis की shape Carens से अच्छी होगी जो बिलकुल भी नहीं है I शेप के हिसाब से Clavis बिलकुल घटिया गाडी है, फीचर्स की बात तो बाद में आती है I तमाम You Tubers Clavis की इस तरह तारीफ़ कर रहे है जैसे Kia ने क्या ही स्पेशल मिसाइल लांच कर दी है I

Interior looks too luxury, but What about mild hybrid diesel and Strong hybrid turbo petrol for kia cars?

At the top end I feel Hycross has the brand advantage. At 21 lakhs Carnival seems to be a better upgrade within Kia. High shoulder line is a deal breaker for me in terms of design.

From covering Carens Clavis review to attending GNR on Saturday at mumbai , sergius shows too much dedication ON work -- OFF work.

The important aspect is build quality & safety ratings, the reason why hyundai sales are stagnant, u need to make some noise when others do

The videography was crappy. When you talk about cupholder/arm-rest space, I would've liked to see the video zoom in there for a few seconds and hold it there instead of barely letting us view what you were describing, Repeated the same in other instances as well, which was annoying
And I don't need to hear background music either.
