Sure it's green & lush, but it is also so unbelievably BLUE! I'd rather go up the Columbia Tower than the Space Needle. It's much cheaper & less crowded. Both are only worth it though when it's clear. It's pointless if it's cloudy.
It's Pike Place Market or the market. I've never heard it called pikes ;) When you go back, try Kau Kau in chinatown for either lunch or dinner. My favorite restaurant in the city. I lived there for 8 years.
Huhuhu this video made me wanna book a one-way ticket to Seattle
ОтветитьGotta catch a Krakens, Seahawks or Mariners game next time!
ОтветитьAny tips on renting a car there at the airport? How was your experience and which car rental company? Did you have to wait in a super long line? I’m trying to figure out which car rental I want to rent from there! Please let me know thank you 😊
ОтветитьWhat hotel did you stay at? I’m thinking about visiting and renting a car but have heard parking fees are so much. Did you find it was hard to navigate the city in a car? Thanks
ОтветитьPlease ignore the squalor of our streets, the threatening homeless people, the mentaly Ill people wondering around like zombies. Don't pay any attention to the crime or businesses fleeing Seattle as a result of the crime. Please do bring a gas mask on the public transportation due to toxic fumes being smoked by our drug addicts. Enjoy!!!!!
ОтветитьI work in downtown Seattle, it's disgusting. I would never bring my family into Seattle or advise anyone to visit. I'm close to retirement so I put up with working in Seattle because I plan on leaving the area soon.
Ответитьu had me at Bingsu
ОтветитьQ score : 8/10. Absolutely loved the A+ kitchen into snowy village angle great choice! If you guys would've bought honey sticks when visiting pike place market i'dve been super impressed. Great video!
Raf Score : 8 /10. Overall great guide however eating at A+ over Hong kong bistro in chinatown got you some points deducted. Also whenever in the pike place market going to seattle fish guys is a must!
192 days later and Seattle gets three day of 70 degree weather.
ОтветитьWelcome to Seattle!
ОтветитьI’ve haven’t been to Seattle. Don’t know when if I ever will, but watching you two is just close enough. Good to spend time with you both virtually. You’re good hosts and your video is amazing
ОтветитьLoved your video. Next time, go to snowy lake, a little further on I90, a beautiful lake. There are ample amount of beautiful hikes in the cascades with amazing Alpine lakes. Best to go in late summer, early fall. The North Cascades are also amazing, along the the Olympics and Mt. Rainier.
ОтветитьMy husband and I are traveling to WA this Thursday for my birthday getaway! I enjoyed this video, you both seem like nice, humble humans. ;)
ОтветитьAppreciate it, continued safe and fun travels 👍
ОтветитьI live in Seattle so far your video is the best hands down from any other travel blogs about Seattle. Thanks for visiting.
ОтветитьIm going this weekend for a few days for work, and i have 1 day of sight seeing so need to cram in as much as i can!
ОтветитьThanks for the tips!!
ОтветитьBeautiful content 👍🏻
ОтветитьSeattle is overdue for a major earthquake. They know why it's coming to them. The prophets have already spoken about how God will destroy both coastal regions of the United States of America. This city is racist as heck. They will get what they deserve I'm due time.
ОтветитьWow I think that’s the best one I found before I go.
ОтветитьNice video Jaychel. Seattle looks amazing
ОтветитьI’m from Lawton Oklahoma. I was visiting family in Portland Or back in 2019. Before pandemic and 2 day broke away to spend one night in Seattle. I went to MoPop Museum, Chihuly Glass Garden, Space Needle, Pike Market ate at Athenians there cause it was evening everything was closed but a few restaurants there. Then saw Kerry Park, T- Mobile Park and Century Link Museums before heading back to Portland. Seattle was cool city I’d recommend it for vacation spot mostly in summertime. I want to go back. Though downfall is homeless problem there. But can look past it. Plus bring money it is costly there. But Seattle cool city.
ОтветитьDidn’t meantion how rough Chinatown is and how taking the light rail is cause it’s hell
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤love it!!!
ОтветитьIsn't Seattle the best? It has everything. My grandparents lived on SW Roxbury Street which is a perfect Seattle location whenever I go there I eat at Spuds Fish and Chips on Alki and go to Pike Place and Space Needle.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьNext time go see volunteer park on Capitol Hill...the conservatory and art museum, now the Asian art museum but was the Seattle art museum in the 1970s...also the U district, UW campus, Suzallo library, Arboretum...the Chittenden locks, and the Smith tower...the once tallest building west of the Mississippi River ❤😊
ОтветитьLove rattlesnake ledge - it's the perfect 1st hike in Washington. Easy to get to, not overly hard but when you get to the top you really feel like you climbed a real mountain.
ОтветитьI went to Seattle in May 2021 and I love it!
ОтветитьI'm going to guess that Jason is a Capricorn and Rachel is a Libra.
ОтветитьDid you visit any harbors in Seattle?
ОтветитьWhen I think of Seattle I think of iCarly lol
ОтветитьYou must have been at Capitol Hill before that riot and takeover. It isnt a place I'd recommend presently, like the top comment.
Ответитьim going in may omg i cant wait !!!
ОтветитьDear Madam Jaychel,
Thanks for nice video and it was really good to see and hear from you the beautiful city Seattle. I am living in Worcester, Massachusetts state , I have been traveling to some cities of the states. Seattle is my next destination for the new year celebration. It is far away by plane ✈️ 7 hours from here but I think it will be worth. Is it good to travel during a winter period to that city? Thanks for responding and best wishes,
Khudaverdi.
Thank you for the suggestions! The Rattlesnake Ledge hike is especially a great idea 😊
ОтветитьI have been wanting to go to Seattle. I definitely will put rattlesnake ledge on my list of things to do. You two make a beautiful couple ❤
ОтветитьWhere do you stay?
ОтветитьFun! Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьThank you good video.From Okinawa。
ОтветитьI definitely will put rattlesnake ledge on my list of things to do. You two make a beautiful couple
ОтветитьThis was such a comprehensive guide! For those who have been, what would you say is the must-try food in Seattle?
ОтветитьNo Seattle dogs!?!?! Thank god! Great video. Very watchable. Lots of great content to help plan our trip! Thanks!
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThe first place you should go to is the weed shops to get some weed.
Sal from New Orleans
Lab Luka sent me. I subscribed!
ОтветитьYou said "foliage" wrong.
ОтветитьLoved the trip through Seattle but had to slow it down as you both talk so fast and the switching from one scene to another makes my head spin it's so fast. Slow down please!
ОтветитьContrary to most American cities - Seattle has a great Public Transportation system that works perfectly. Renting a car is about the last thing I would do unless you need to commute in the Greater Seattle suburban areas.
Time spent to look for parking - and the price you pay for those can easily add up to what you pay for a night in a motel.
