I want the interior for the Kia K5

Hello, anyone experienced break noise when backing up? My 2020 Sonata limited just got 1660 miles I feel pretty sad will have to pay for service already? I used to buy new car every 3 years and never have this problem.

Some rather important info from Sept of this year, 2020, but not the first time (but for the same reason - and people have lost their lives) - do a search:
"Hyundai-Kia recalls nearly 600,000 cars over defect that can cause vehicles to catch fire"

Nope, no Hyundais or Kias for me. In face, no new cars. Many new/newer cars seem to have some significant (life-threatening) problems . I do a lot of research and am amazed at things like this, and like unintentional acceleration (common) or vehicles just shutting down while doing 70 on the freeway (things which plague many makes).

Scary stuff! That's why I drive a 2000 Buick Le Sabre with 190,000+ miles! And will until it dies. Then? ah, that's the problem. Hopefully, I'll be too old to drive anyway. I would just want a new, BASIC car without all the bells and whistles. The more they put on these cars, the more dangerous they become. Cars were much safer back in the day :-) (in case you're wondering, I'm 72)

"
HYUNDAI has the same type of recall out (dated Dec 4 2020) because of the risk of car catching fire. Buyer beware.

I'm driving one for the week from Enterprise...man, it was love at first seat. But if my Mazda skyactiv smells her on me, it might spell trouble.

Better check your Insurance rates. I checked today these cars with all the safety will give you a 40 percent increase to drive this.

Seems like a "reviewer" of cars would include how it rides and how quiet it is. Wouldn't it be terrible to buy it and have 100K miles of bumpy riding and listening to a noisy interior and engine constantly. Thanks for nothing.

It’s a very nice car. Very nice ride in the 2.5 L non-turbo with 191 hp is pretty quick for what it is. The car will move especially on the highway. It will move very quickly. The only things that I am not impressed so far with it after having it for a year, my master window switch on driver side is intermittent sometimes now the car still has bumper to bumper warranty but it almost has 60,000 miles on it then my factory warranty will disappear just today I took my car in to get washed from a car wash and I come out of the car wash and I didn’t really notice anything until I went to a side building where it was quiet enough. I left the car running, so the air-conditioning would keep the car cool since I live down in Florida and I noticed a small, faint chirping noise coming from the side of the engine bay, I pop the hood and sure shit it’s coming from the engine bay the belts I don’t know if it’s the idler pulley going bad already at 60,000 miles hopefully it will be covered under my warranty. It should be since I have the bumper to bumper until 60,000 miles or I don’t know if it’s the water pump pulley itself I did spray some belt dressing. on the belts and it seem to quiet it completely drove it around for a little bit in the squeaking, reappeared or chirping called dealership. Service lady told me could be idler pulley. I just find it completely odd if it is, that thing has failed at 60,000 miles not even 60,000 miles to be exact it has like 56,000 on it right now but it’s also two years old as well when I looked down at the idler pulley it does look pretty worn out most of the idler pulleys should be black when they’re new not scarred with silver and black together so I’m guessing that may be the culprit I just found it really weird that it would quiet down after spraying that belt dressing on it but obviously it’s chirping again so it’s not the belts at least yet that is the only two things that I’ve noticed after a year owning this vehicle and oh yes P S. Had to bring in dealership before to reprogram transmission actuators was causing shifting problems after that, it seems to be running just fine for the transmission part going to need it get the transmission fluid changed it does require 60,000 mile interval but good luck with everything about the vehicle. It is a sharp ride. I’ve gotten many compliments on my car but the power that it has for what it is. It is very surprising, I’ve had a couple cars come up to me at a red light and be surprised that that Sonata would move like that but anyway, it is a very nice car. I have to agree and I should know because I’m a proud owner of one for over a year and never really any problems at all. Actually none at all except for this window switch the actuators in the transmission, and now this most recent one, the idler, pulley or chirping noise coming from belts, but those are all small things that’s hopefully covered under Hyundai’s warranty

I looked at this Sonota last night, and Elantra. I don't know which one is a better choice to purchase. Their both great cars.
