So the Marriage Supper of the Lamb would have to take place after the second advent since the tribulation saints will be present? I'm guessing the marriage will be right as the Millennial reign begins.

(Edit) i read Revelation 19 and if that portion is chronological it would take place before the second advent. Hmmmm.

May I ask that if the tribulation saints or the bridesmaid virgins get raptured and at the wedding feast who is it that is in the millennium?

Ok, this was very timely! I have been struggling to understand this parable for years. Please take this message a step further and explain more in detail! Are you saying that the 10 virgins are AFTER the first rapture? Or are you saying that 5 go in the first rapture and the other 5 go in the second rapture as trib saints? Did He say depart from me I never knew you to the 5 foolish and they never had another chance to be with Jesus?

What does it mean not-defiled-with-virgins? Defiled means degraded.
So the virgins knocking at the door are not women only? the use of the word virgin seems different comparing the 10 virgins vs the not defiled with virgins virgins. sorry, got a brain cramp on the comparison. I thought not defiled meant not touched by a woman in this case so all spoken to are untouched men?

additionally, you can be at the wedding not being the bride but still be saved? So there are two groups at the wedding. Bride and invites....both saved.

additionally again....haha.....depart from me i never knew you? is NOT at the judgement seat of christ? Its separate only for the trib saints? So its a 3rd type of judgement event? I always thought that was said at the great white throne of judgement.

and so John was a friend of the bridegroom....meaning he was a jew and jews outside of the church-age who are saved can not be the bride but only invites?

In that time, the friend of the bridegroom was in charge of the entire marriage event. He invited the guests, planned and organized the wedding ceremony, and hosted and oversaw the reception. He even arranged the honeymoon, going ahead of the couple to make sure everything was in place for his friend and the bride. He also secured their new home, preparing it for the couple to live in. In short, the friend of the bridegroom was responsible for it all. His role was a rigorous work of love and grace, from beginning to end.

So the 10 virgins are also the 144,000 virgins, 12,000 from each tribe of Israel? I thought the 144,000 were sealed by God to proselytize to Jewish people during the tribulation period. How can Jesus say he never knew 5 of them when they were sealed? What then becomes of the Jews who were proselytized to that came to faith? How about the gentiles who come to faith during the tribulation, are they not tribulation saints also? I guess comparing Mat 25 to Rev 7 has confused me. Could you please explain? Thank you.

After more study, I disagree that the virgins are general Tribulation saints that includes the 144,000 in their number as they are virgins.

I disagree for the following reasons:
1. Ruckman said the number of Gentiles is 10. Ten virgins then would be the Gentile nations.
2. The split of 5 virgins with oil vs 5 virgins without oil hearkens more to the judgment of nations of sheep and goats.
3. In Jewish weddings, the virgins are the friends of the bride, while the groom also has friends on his side. The Bridesgroom's friends are John the Baptist (as Jesus says so) and I would probably say the 144,000 (conjecture, but we know Jesus calls His disciples Friends). This leaves the Gentile Church's friends being the Gentile nations.
