The gear gap is too much. New players are fodder to griefers. It takes too long to remotely catch up and be competitive. I don't think that it would be worth it for most players. They need to improve/redesign the gear catchup mechanics. What we have is not enough.

BDO is a black box where most of the things aren't explained. It's a terrible game by all metrics that matter to the medium.
You need a 20-40min guide on everything you do otherwise you risk missing crucial features.
Then there's the needlessly convoluted steps to progress, the plethora of dead content only there to confuse new players at this point.

I still love this game, but man, recommending it is hard when all the good stuff is hidden behind layers upon layers of bullshit.

I playing BDO, but mostly only do PVE for seasonal quest, my main activity is gathering meat, cooking and do other life skill.

To people out there, why would you want to catch up with other players? I only do pve and have been playing 2 years now and just hit 300 Ap, you should not care about other players or playing catch up with other, just do your own thing and have fun. If you like pvp remember there will always be someone better so why worry about other players? Set your own goals and work towards them. Thanks for the video👍

Is BDO easy to learn? No. Is it fun? Absolutely. I dumped ESO for BDO b4 Christmas, and others had since followed me. Recommend Trinity Online to those seeking help with BDO.

Does this game have competitive pvp?

The one thing I am not understanding and is really going to determine whether I enjoy the game or not, is that let's say I set out to become a sailer and a fisher, that's all I wanna do, but then I grow tired of my class and I wanna try something else, but still sail and fish, will I then have to re-level sailing and fishing on my new class or is it all shared?

The only worth thing to buy with pearls is Tent, that helps alot, other stuffs are just garbage in therms of helping you. Yea you can buy whatever want but won't help in game. Crons are most expensive and very hard to get them excepting to buy them from NPC which is expensive, this just holds back players from progression if the pve is what they want like have a chance for tet to pen bs its like 11b tap if buying crons so if you are tapping 10-20+ times is just not worth it cause its 100b+ PEN on market.

This is such a good game, until you figure out what a big waste of time it is, with the endless grinding and psychopath gear upgrade system.

the game's u.i. is what puts me off i've tried to get into this 2 times now with about 2 years age gap in between but i can't help but get overwhelmed by the games u.i. and im not sure how bad the p2w/p4c is in the game either
