I am not sold on these. The purple look with the roxa palette you did looked way smoother and well blended.

honestly for the price tag, the mega palette doesnt look luxurious on the eyes in the slightest… i feel like “not bad” or “okay” really just isnt enough considering how much you’re spending on the brand, and if you have to try really hard to love the palette or make it look good for you then it really isnt worth the $ 😕 PML has definitely lost their touch over the years imo

I’ve been living my ABH large purple palette from about 2-3 years ago that I don’t feel I need both the ND new palette or this PM collection.

Would you consider reviewing the gold and black duo. They say they are astral and blitz shades. I would love to know how they compare to other blitz and astral shades. Pleeeeeease Morgan! ❤

I think PML built lots of hype at first, and now they’re trying to get the average consumer to believe that they’re “accessible,” while still trying to maintain that illusion of rarity/exclusivity. So their launches HAVE to be boring in order to make more money, because that average buyer doesn’t want avant-garde color stories and extraordinary formulas. They want pinks, browns, MAYBE purples, and a glitter or two for special occasions (which honestly for the regular person are rare.)

Not gonna lie, this palette looks like a watered-down version of the Oden’s Eye Merry Christmas palette. Am I crazy? Haha

Honestly I am not going to buy anything else from Pat McGrath unless she comes out with a unique palette that isn’t mostly pink. I will stick to the older palettes that I have

From watching Patty Alonso's video, it seems that the silver is the only repeat shade. She had it in the cool tone 5 pan palette in the holiday collection a couple of years ago.

Pat went all in, in the beginning. I guess she had nowhere to go but down. Danessa Myricks definitely brought the freshness that Pat is lacking.

The last thing I bought from pat is the moonlit seduction palette they need stop releasing these big afterthought pallets and just give us 1 or 2 good quality product per year like a mothership pallet and another good quality product I’m fine with it the beauty industry is over saturated and new stuff are released every single week at this point it’s exhausting trying to keep up. I’d rather invest in something timeless and well made than constantly feel pressured to buy every new release. The constant hype feels more like a marketing strategy than actual innovation. Quality over quantity should be the priorityit gives us something to really look forward to and cherish, instead of cluttering our collections with half hearted releases.

The yellow-green eye look you have made with Viseart Cyish looked much better and more vibrant comparing to this duo

I agree with everyone on here. I used to love Pat. She was at the very top of my makeup pedestal but no longer. It's been a few years since I've been excited for something from her. Makes me sad but I have saved a lot of money on the plus side haha. I was interested in the 5 pan you bought until it didn't show up in quality. Boo.

Pat McGrath is not even part of the design/selection/curation process. She does the big fashion shows, gets her well-deserved accolades, then she just lends her name to a makeup company so she can keep her fingers in that pie, too. PML is simply a cash grab, no originality, or excitement, nothing about the brand even whispers luxury. NEXT!

Ugh! I love that 5 pan color story, but for PM prices, the quality needs to be there too. How disappointing!

I think I’m in the minority, I don’t live the formula of the quints. The mattes are hard to blend, and the shimmers, some are stunning but it’s almost like you said where they don’t always stick to the lid.

Haven’t bought much from her in 2 years 😔 used to love it. I’ve only collected the old formulas in the nice packaging on sale from time to time. I didn’t buy the last mothership either. Just not exciting looks tired and it doesn’t inspire. Hope the brand gets good again

As much as we pay for this makeup they should be making the packaging nice too. Like the Hourglass face palette is nice and the ysl eyeshadow quads are cute but those could be metal too. I think Pat McGrath packaging is cheap and the design is tacky (except for the motherships)

The green PM duos I could dupe from different palettes/singles (I am thinking of Nars eyeshadows). I wanted the big palette but only at a discount. Probably skip on the collection and I had a feeling it's not going to be a sell out like her previous holiday launches. Such a shame.

I saw another reviewer say that her old palettes were 18 pan so we lost 3 shades than normal compared to this year. I’m not really the biggest fan of Pat McGrath. I feel underwhelmed with her releases. In my opinion, this video is all more reason for me not to buy it. Even the sparkle shades look chunky and not smooth. I feel like it wouldn’t be good for mature eyelids either

Pats mattes are horrible. The colors are alway supuestamente, and chalky. I’ve not bought an eyeshadow from her in years now.
