I'm baffled that y'all & Adam didn't realize or nobody told y'all & Adam that you could do laundry either in the hotel by asking the staff or go to a laundromat so you wouldn't have to pack so many clothes....y'all don't refrigerate your eggs cus they still have the protective layer & here in the states the protective layer gets washed off so they have to be refrigerated

There is not enough business in Ireland to support Targets or Wal-Mart. No Walmart stores are much larger than
Targets.

I have been to 5 different Target stores and they were tiny and just sold clothing. It is interesting to see how different the stores are in different areas of the country. I never go to Target anymore because what they sell here in middle Tennessee isn't worth my time but I have friends who love the store.

Americans do everything on a large scale. They are foolish when it comes to their gun laws. But England also has problems when it comes to teens and knife crimes.

The first Walmart SuperCenter ever was in our town. When they opened, they put the staff on rollerskates because it was so large. That didn't last long. Too many injuries. Nowadays, our SuperCenter would be considered "small."

OK. Here's the thing you have to understand. In Mexico (at least in the tourist areas), they have Walmarts that put ours to shame. They have so many more choices than we have in the US. For instance in Mexico, they actually sell motorcycles and major appliances in Walmart. They have a bakery that has gorgeous cakes and so many breads and pastries. The yogurt aisle has to be seen to be believed. Some day, you ought to visit Mexico.

If it had a grocery section it was a Super Target.

Not understanding the difference between the regular and super, I looked it up. Super has a deli and bakery, regular does not. The one in my home town does not have the deli or bakery and does not have the word, 'SUPER' on the building.
The reason we refrigerate the eggs here is because they are washed. When you wash eggs it removes the thin, protective layer that is on the shell. Eggs that are not washed do not need refrigeration.

The "Super" in Super Target or Super Walmart has nothing to do with the size of the store. The "Super" is for "Supermarket". So, a SuperTarget or Super Walmart has a fullsized supermarket as part of the store. A regular Target or Walmart might have a small section of food items, but they are very limited.

I think at the moment three of the Target stores in the Orlando area are Super Targets. I feel like the Target I use most often is small enough to originally have been a K-Mart though -- although all of those are gone except for one mini Kmart in Miami, they did not have that many stores as big as a Super Target or Super Walmart. And I'm starting to get back into Adam's videos after a while and I get kind of a feeling like he might travel the same way that I do: "Whatever fits in the carry-on, go with it". I haven't left the East Coast let alone the country yet, though, so there's that.

Dang, Target is basically just a more expensive Walmart, if those are great prices to you and thats this year when our inflation is high, OMG you guys would love it on low inflation

Not gonna lie, when I saw the Halloween jack-o'-lantern guitar player thing, I started to grit my teeth. That thing is so friggin annoying I had to avoid the Halloween section this year. Made me want to puncture my own ear drums!!

Re washing clothes while traveling. We needed to get clothes washed while traveling in Europe. The hotel offered the service, I don't recall if it was in Spain or Italy, but my husband sent shirts and underwear. Everything came back as if it came from the dry cleaners in hangers. Shirts, t-shirts, underpants, all pressed and hanging from hangers. I can still see his underpants hanging. It was ridiculous and expensive. I guess they don't fold clothes.

The "super" is short for supermarket not the size of the store. Supertarget and walmart supercenter sell groceries.

Next trip: The Container Store.

BTW, go find the cheapest purveyor of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish and buy boatloads. Then take (BEEP BEEP BEEP as the pallet arrives) your haul to a UPS or FedEx store and have it shipped to your home. They will box it up for you.

I have always been surprised that we have never seen Brits in Sam's Club. Owned by Walmart but similar to Costco. A warehouse type of store, and if you wish to see buying in bulk taken to the extreme, then you need to visit a Sam's Club.

Sadly, Adam is right...millions of Americans have no idea of how good they have it. They take everything for granted. So many Americans. young and older need to realize and think about how good they have it here in so many ways.

That is a big Target. My local Target does have a small market section but nothing like this one. Our Walmart, on the other hand, is this level of ridiculous. You have to bring provisions, a map, and compass to survive.

I once took a trip to Thailand and didn't bring anything at all; just the clothes I was wearing and my wallet and passport (I was in Korea at the time). I'd been before and new how inexpensive everything was there, so I just grabbed new clothes everyday at the market and got a backpack to jam 'em into for the flight back. Easiest flight EVER!

I can still remember how much smaller Target stores were when it opened in my town in 1977. When I was in Minneapolis in 1995, it floored me how large the Super Targets were and yet got even larger.
