The bay is a prime example of not getting with the times, they always existed as a major department store in Canada having massive storefronts across every mall, but they lacked identity there are just so much better affordable and luxury stores that operate at a much lower cost and higher margin due to having a bigger ecomerce presence. Hudson Bay is a disgrace to Canadian business they should’ve gotten with the times and adapted

In the context that , workers by their labour , first being injected to the Hudson’s Bay , from whom without, the company couldn’t even open it’s doors and do business by the millions of dollars per year. Couldn’t secure its former credit status or apply for it . The employees got shoved to the back of the line of what they are owed instead of being the first , by law .

You built , you expanded , you leased , based on the ability to hire the talent to do it. The downfall in the eyes of the Courts almost places the blame with the employee . Not the corporate managers , they’ll be just fine, as well as the CEO’s , they’ll be just fine too.
