Installation "Wirbelsatz" @ Museum of Natural History, Molusc Hall, Vienna, April 2023, in the context of SharingWaterProject.
Concept and Realisation by Stefan Fraunberger investigating historic conch shells from the collection of the museum of Natural History.
The conch shells were brought to the museum 120 years ago by Franz Ferdinand. On behalf of their resonances we flooded the Molusc Hall interspecies, multiplying shell perception with human architecture through electroacoustic means.
The installation was realized in the context of Sharing Water Project, curated by Regina Hügli.
