Wife is currently thinking I’m insane and freaking about the sorbet in our freezer with all the added sugar. I’d say this is about the hardest part of starting this thing- she thinks I’m crazy.

So you're saying the law of thermodynamics does not apply on the sugar diet?
My maintenance calories is 2500 a day, but I guarantee I could consume more than twice that amount drinking maple syrup and eating candy because I have a big sweet tooth.
How could I possibly lose weight eating 5000 - 6000 calories a day, mostly sitting on the couch all day? C'mon man!

Is this meant to be very short term? Bcs very low fat will lead to gallbladder issues and hormonal issues for example.

i think u get that wrong, you only start eating meat (if YUO WANT ) when u are at you goal weight to stall. thats in tha name sugar , not meat , as you are eating amino acids from the fruit there not a problem with "protein" if you dont under eat .this is fooling people that meat is a part of the sugar diet , WRONG
